Dropout Sets Culinary Show ‘Gastronauts’ With Brennan Lee Mulligan, Sam Reich
Dropout has ordered culinary competition series “Gastronauts,” which will feature the streamer’s staple talent as judges, including CEO and “Game Changer” host Sam Reich and “Dimension 20” dungeon master Brennan Lee Mulligan.
In the new series, host Jordan Myrick is joined by three comedians each episode, who all have specific, ridiculous culinary challenges for each episode’s group of chefs, which consist of past contestants and winners from cooking shows including “Chopped,” “The Next Food Network Star” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” per Dropout
Along with Reich and Mulligan, comedians who will be judging the chef competitors include recurring Dropout talent Vic Michaelis, Jacob Wysocki, Oscar Montoya and newcomer TikTok star Kendahl Landreth, among others.
Chef contestants for “Gastronauts” Season 1 include: Angel Ortega Gonzalez (Chopped), Arturo Avallone (Chopped, It’s Compliplated), Cici Celia (Chopped), Dominique Crisp (Save The Leftovers), Harrison Bader (The Next Food Network Star, Supermarket Stakeout), Jessica Tiffany Luevano, Jeromy Wright (Chopped, Supermarket Stakeout), Joshua Mouzakes (Beachside Brawl, Alex vs. America, Chopped), Kat Turner (Chopped), Kenneth Anderson (Supermarket Stakeout), Kyndra McCrary (Chopped), Lauren Lawless (Supermarket Stakeout, Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef, Chopped), Mark Esposito (The Great Food Truck Race), Patrick Costa (Chopped), Pratik Bhakta, Samantha Quintero (Chopped) and Trevor Ross (Supermarket Stakeout).
The new series will premiere Oct. 11 on Dropout (the indie streamer owned by the company of the same name, which last year rebranded from CollegeHumor) with new episodes released every other Friday.
