Former president Donald Trump, with less than two weeks before the 2024 U.S. election, is scheduled to make an appearance on Joe Rogan‘s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” It will be Trump’s first time on the show hosted by the comedian.

Trump will record the interview Friday, Oct. 25, at Rogan’s studio in Austin, Texas, according to Politico, which first reported the news. It’s not clear when Rogan’s podcast with Trump as his guest will be released. Rogan consistently had the No. 1 ranked podcast on Spotify during the platform’s exclusive distribution deal for the show, which ended earlier this year.

VP Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, earlier this month appeared on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where she spoke about topics including abortion rights and student loan forgiveness and addressed comments made by Trump and JD Vance. Harris is scheduled to also be in Texas on Friday for a rally in Houston.

In August, Rogan was targeted by a backlash among Trump supporters over Rogan’s comments praising Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Rogan, who had said about RFK Jr. that “He’s the only one who make sense to me,” subsequently said he was not endorsing the candidate for president. Rogan added in a post on X, “I also think Trump raising his fist and saying ‘fight!’ after getting shot is one of the most American fucking things of all time.”

Trump had lashed out at Rogan over the podcaster’s support of RFK Jr. “It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024,” Trump had posted on Truth Social on Aug. 9.

Rogan said on his show in late July that he “could see” Harris beating Trump. “I’m saying it because she could,” Rogan said. “I’m not saying it because I think she’s going to, and I’m not saying it because I want her to. I’m just being honest. I could see her winning.”

Meanwhile, last December, Rogan had claimed many Americans who voted for President Biden in 2020 were regretting that decision because of Biden’s mental decline. But Rogan incorrectly claimed that Biden said America “lost” the Revolutionary War because “we didn’t have enough airports” — which is something Trump actually had said.
