There is no denying that Naruto is an epic, action-filled anime series that has been responsible for producing some of the most incredible fights in anime history. Most of the fight scenes in Naruto are excellently directed, which is sufficient to keep the eyes of the fans fixated on the screen.

There are all types of fights in the series, ranging from intense hand-to-hand combat to fights involving a variety of jutsu. Due to the heterogeneity of the fights, it is extremely difficult to choose a favorite, but some of them are better than the rest.

Naturally, when two or more of these individuals were involved in a skirmish, the result was always stellar. Due to this reason, it is hardly surprising that there are a ton of amazing fights in Naruto. Unfortunately, all of them do not have the same quality. Some of them are better than the rest, which is why they are considered the best fights in Naruto.

24 Naruto, Sasuke, And Boruto vs Momoshiki

Winners: Naruto, Sasuke, And Boruto

Momoshiki Otsutsuki is one of the many characters to be introduced in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. He traveled to Earth to punish Kaguya and take the Chakra Fruit for himself. However, he was met with stern resistance.

Momoshiki had to face Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto. The momentum shifted continuously throughout the fight, but the Otsutsuki was more dominant. Towards the end, Momoshiki was beaten by Boruto’s giant Vanishing Rasengan.

Neji qualified for the next round of the tuning exams after demolishing Hinata. His arrogant demeanor enraged Naruto, so the latter couldn’t wait to fight and prove him wrong. Neji dominated the battle, and victory seemed certain for the prodigy of the Hyuuga clan, especially after he blocked all of Naruto’s chakra points. However, Naruto wasn’t ready to go down so easily.

The knucklehead ninja channeled the power of the Nine-Tails to overcome the handicap, but there was still a lot left to do. Naruto still had to avoid Neji’s Byakugan, so he took advantage of the dust cloud to hide himself underground. Once the dust cleared, Neji saw an unconscious Naruto. This lulled Neji into a false sense of security, which allowed Naruto to catch him off-guard and land a punch on his chin.

22 Team 7 vs Kaguya

Kaguya Otsutsuki’s introduction raised many eyebrows, but it did provide fans with some of the most incredible moments in Naruto, one of them being Team 7’s fight against her. Kaguya’s abilities nearly made it impossible for Team 7 to find their feet. She changed dimensions and used attacks that would erase a person from existence. So, the margin for error was rather small.

However, Team 7’s spirit was not dampened by Kaguya’s strength. Instead, it gave them a reason to collaborate and take her down. Aside from the immense display of power on both sides, the fight also had an emotional side.

21 Neji vs Kidomaru

When the members of Konoha 11 decided to go after Sasuke, they soon realized that they had to beat the Sound Four. All the members of this particular group were strong, and they could easily fight Jonin-level ninjas. So, it was going to be a challenge, even for the talented Konoha 11.

During the chase, Neji had to fight Kidomaru, who was an extremely dangerous individual. He knew how to figure out and exploit an opponent’s weakness. After learning about the Sage Mode and nearly perfecting the Impure World Reincarnation, Kabuto Yakushi decided to help Obito trigger the Fourth Great Ninja War. Kabuto supplied Obito with soldiers, which also included the Kage from the bygone era.

Since these soldiers were under the control of Kabuto, it was absolutely important for the heroes to get rid of him. The responsibility to deal with them fell on the shoulders of Itachi and Sasuke. Despite the powers of the two Uchiha, it was Kabuto who held the edge. So, Itachi had to rely on Izanami, a forbidden technique, to stop Kabuto from causing any further damage. Aside from being entertaining, the fight also gave Sasuke some much-needed closure.

19 Naruto vs Sasuke Round 1

Naruto and Sasuke were part of the same team, but both wanted completely different things in life. Naruto wanted to be a hero who was acknowledged by everyone. Sasuke, on the other hand, wanted to kill his older brother.

When Sasuke realized that he could not beat Itachi in his current state, he decided to train under Orochimaru. However, Naruto wasn’t ready to let Sasuke defect from the village. This led to an epic chase, which came to a close at the Valley of the End. Both fighters gave it their best shot, but it was Sasuke who came out on top.

Deidara ambushed Sasuke before he could find Itachi. The two rogue ninjas went all out and used their strongest attacks to overwhelm each other. When they reached an impasse, Deidara decided to use his ultimate move, which would kill both him and Sasuke. However, the young ninja was extremely cunning and summoned and reverse summoned Manda to escape from the blast and thus emerged the victor.

17 Kisame vs Guy

Kisame was one of the more powerful members of Akatsuki. While he did not have any flashy abilities, he was highly dedicated to his missions. Sakura was still considered an unlikeable character in the early parts of Naruto Shippuden, which is why she needed a great fight to highlight her development. Sakura teamed up with Chiyo to stop Sasori from causing any more damage. The two kunoichis were at a disadvantage against the puppet master, so they formulated a plan to counter his threat.

Chiyo attached chakra threads to Sakura, allowing her to control the young ninja’s movements. Chiyo and Sakura had to dig deep to find an opening, and once they did, they made sure to punish Sasori. The Akatsuki member was stabbed in the heart, which brought an end to his life. The fight was quite emotional, especially for Chiyo, as she did not want to kill her grandson.

In the fight, Killer B showed that, while his looks and style were outlandish, he was still among the top fighters in Naruto.

14 Shikamaru vs Hidan

After witnessing Asuma’s death, Shikamaru was in a state of extreme sadness, and it was only due to the efforts of his father that Shikamaru was able to let out his frustrations. Then Shikamaru began to formulate a strategy that would allow him to defeat Hidan and Kakuzu. Shikamaru’s plan was extremely cunning and with some help from his teammates, plus Kakashi and Naruto, he managed to separate Hidan and Kakuzu.

Hidan was arrogant about his inability to die, so he happily followed Shikamaru, but little did the Akatsuki member know that a fate worse than death awaited him. Shikamaru managed to trap Hidan with his jutsu and used multiple explosive tags to blow up the latter and seal him beneath the ground forever.

13 Rock Lee, Gaara vs Kimimaro

It was interesting to see Rock Lee and Gaara team up to beat Kimimaro especially after Gaara nearly ended Lee’s career as a ninja. Nonetheless, the fight between the two parties was immense and despite their numbers, Gaara and Lee were struggling.

Kimimaro managed to overwhelm them quite easily in what was easily one of the best fights in Naruto. Luckily for the protagonists, Kimimaro’s disease was in its final stage, and he died before he could dispose of them.

12 Hashirama vs Madara

They are two of the greatest ever ninjas in history. Hashirama and Madara were responsible for creating the Hidden Leaf and giving another twist to the story of Asura and Indra Otsutsuki.

The final battle between the two Hidden Leaf ninjas is an all-time epic, and it resulted in Madara’s “death.” It took place at the Valley of End, which also served as the battleground for Naruto and Sasuke’s final fight.

The first real mission of Team 7 was in the Land of Waves. Tazuna lied to them about the severity of the mission and endangered their lives. It wasn’t until later that Kakashi realized that the mission was extremely difficult.

Team 7 had to face Zabuza and Haku, who were working for Gato. After a fierce battle, Haku sacrificed himself to save Zabuza from Kakashi’s Chidori. The sacrifice wasn’t enough to move the apathetic Zabuza, however, when Naruto began to speak about how much Haku cared for Zabuza, the Demon of the Mist broke down.

8 Shikamaru vs Temari

It is one of the most iconic fights in the Naruto series. The fight took place in the Chunin Exams. It was a must-win fight for both Shikamaru and Temari. Temari had the upper hand for the majority of the fight, and it seemed that she was destined to win it.

For a long time, Itachi’s reputation remained that of a bad guy. He killed his parents, clan members, and tortured his little brother. Sasuke spent all his life detesting Itachi and he had only one goal in mind, which was to kill his older brother at any cost.

The fight between the two Sharingan masters held a lot of significance; emotions were running high. Once Itachi used his Susanoo, it was clear that Sasuke would lose, but it paved way for one of the biggest plot twists. Instead of taking Sasuke’s eyes, Itachi poked him once again on his forehead. The incident left Sasuke perplexed and with a lot of questions.

In the Chunin Exam, Rock Lee was facing an uphill task of beating Gaara, who was the favorite for winning. At the beginning of the fight, Gaara was undaunted by Lee’s continuous attacks. However, things rapidly changed when the latter dropped his ankle weights.
