RDR2: Where to Get a Free Elite Class Arabian Horse

The White Arabian Horse in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a guaranteed spawn that can be found in-game after Chapter 1, meaning players can go through the entirety of Red Dead Redemption 2 with one of the best horses, and certainly one of the more majestic ones due to its agile size, shimmering white coat, and intense speeds.

White Arabian Horse Location in RDR2

The White Arabian Horse can be found in the North West area of Lake Isabella. Crossing the frozen lake to head left by the snow-covered trees, players should be able to spot the White Arabian roaming around calmly. There have been some instances where the horse has not spawned, but if that is the case, simply head away from Lake Isabella, save, and reload to refresh the instance to try again and get the White Arabian to spawn.

There are also instances of the White Arabian spawning while being attacked by wild wolves, so it’s best to make sure a save is activated before heading out to find the White Arabian just in case something happens to it. After all, accidents happen. Yet, once players do find the White Arabian, it’s time to get close and tame it.

How to Tame and Bond with the White Arabian Horse in RDR2

Taming the wild White Arabian horse isn’t going to be easy, as it can be rather skittish with a rough temperament since it’s untamed. To tame the White Arabian, players must first study the creature with their Binoculars with L1/RB. After which, players can now calm the horse when they begin their approach.

The White Arabian spooks easily for a wild horse, so players will want to remain crouched by clicking in L3, and then hold the Lasso and prepare to rope it around the horse’s neck to subdue it. When players manage to Lasso the White Arabian, spam Square/X to repeatedly click the Calm option in order to keep the White Arabian from darting off in a sprint.

Once players manage to get close to the White Arabian, press Y/Triangle to mount the wild horse, but do be careful, as the noble horse will do its best to buck Arthur off. Players will want to hold down on the Left Stick and move the Left Stick in the opposite direction of the horse’s movement to keep Arthur balanced. This means that if the horse is bucking to the left, the Left Stick must be pointed to the right, and vice versa. After a short while, the horse will calm, and players can then ride it to the nearest stable to keep the horse and make it a Primary Horse.

The closest stable from Lake Isabella is in Strawberry, West Elizabeth. Head to this location and be careful of any predators like bears and wolves, as the White Arabian doesn’t have the best bond with Arthur at this point, so it spooks easily and will buck him off to run. Players can increase the bond with the animal by calming it with a click of R3 while riding, and by feeding it.
