Palworld: How to Get Bastigor
With every new update that Palworld makes through open beta, the game continues to expand its world with new features, items, NPCs, weapons and gear, and of course – brand new islands full of new Pals to discover and capture. With the arrival of the Feybreak expansion, players are introduced to an entirely new island that is six times the size of Sakurajima and packed with not only fresh objectives to explore, but also a series of new monsters to add to your collection.
One of these various new Pals in the Feybreak expansion is Bastigor, a solid Ice Type with the potential to be a very viable team member or base worker for players. This makes this Pal a notable one to track down if not for your collection, than for the value it can bring by joining your side. If you’re struggling to locate and capture this Pal, then all relevant information to help you do so has been included in the guide below, as well as a breakdown of important information regarding Bastigor’s unique Skill and work suitability.

How to Get Bastigor in Palworld
Unlike many other Pals, which can be found roaming various locations through one of the islands across the world map, Bastigor does not spawn at any given location across any island – making it quite tricky to obtain. Instead, players must look to hatch Bastigor from an Egg. Bastigor can be hatched from Huge Frozen Eggs, so if you encounter any of these during your adventures it is a good idea to pick them up and place them in an incubator as soon as possible.
However, relying on the RNG of found Eggs from the wild can be a very time-consuming and unreliable method for hatching this Pal, so instead players should look to prioritize breeding it at their base by pairing two Pals together at a Breeding Farm. To do so, players must place one male Pal and one female Pal at the Breeding Farm and place some Cake in the supply box.
- Eventually, this should generate an Egg as long as the pairing is compatible. Luckily, there is one pairing that is known to result in hatching Bastigor – Anubis and Frostallion. Though, of course, once you have two Bastigor, you can also breed them together to guarantee more Bastigor hatches and start searching for the best IVs / Skills.

Bastigor Work Suitability & Partner Skill, Explained
Bastigor’s unique Partner Skill is called Blizzard Crash and enables the player to ride Bastigor as a mount whilst out and about exploring and battling. Whilst being ridden as a mount, Bastigor will also deliver huge ice hammer attacks.

In order to do this, players will need to craft the Bastigor’s Hammer Pal Gear, with the following resources:

When it comes to work suitability, Bastigor is also very solid as a base worker, due to having the versatility of being able to complete Cooling, Lumbering, and Mining tasks – all to a high level. This makes Bastigor a very high-value Pal for more than one reason, meaning it is more than worth the time to take in order to obtain.
