Palworld Feybreak: How to Get Advanced Bow
Survival is the name of the game in Pocketpair’s Palworld, and its devoted player community has continued to enjoy this key feature of the game since its record-breaking launch in January 2024. As Palpagos expands, so does the incredibly diverse assortment of items that can be crafted and used to take on the biggest challenges or turn your Pal base into a marvel of ridiculous ingenuity. Whether it’s machines, weapons, armor, food, or the latest fashion for your Pals, there’s something for just about everything a Pal adventurer needs.
One such weapon that can prove very useful for taking on stronger Pals in Palworld is the Advanced Bow, which is one of the many new items added in the game’s Feybreak DLC. If you want to add this powerful bow to your arsenal, you will need to know what’s required to make it.

How to Make Advanced Bow in Palworld
To get the Advanced Bow in Palworld, you will need to craft it like every other weapon in the game. First, you need to unlock its recipe schematic, which is found at Level 57 on the Technology Menu. Once you’ve reached that level, you can unlock the Common-tier schematic with your acquired Technology Points. If you want to get higher-tier schematics for the Advanced Bow, you will need to do some exploring, and the Legendary-tier version can be found on the Level 60 Oil Rig southwest of Feybreak Island.
Once you’ve unlocked the base schematic for the Advanced Bow, you will then need to gather and craft the required materials for the weapon. The list isn’t very long, but at least one of them will take considerable time to make depending on your overall progress. You also need to have reached Feybreak Island to access resources you will need. To craft the Advanced Bow you will need the following materials:
Material Name |
How to Get/Make Material |
---|---|
40 x Hexolite |
Crafted via the Gigantic Furnace |
100 x Carbon Fiber |
Crafted via Production Assembly Line II |
20 x Nightstar Sand |
Obtained during night hours on Feybreak Island or Sand Dunes |
Of the above materials, Hexolite is the ingredient that will take you the longest to procure, as you first need to build at least one Gigantic Furnace at one of your Pal bases. This machine is unlocked at Level 56 on the Technology Menu, and it requires a hefty amount of resources to build, including:
- 150 x Plasteel (will require 750 Crude Oil)
- 100 x Polymer (will require 200 High Quality Pal Oil)
- 200 x Flame Organs
- 20 x Ancient Civilization Parts
Once you have your Gigantic Furnace up and running, then you can focus on collecting the materials to make Hexolite, which include Chromite (found primarily in Feybreak dungeons via the Metal Detector), the holographic Hexolite Quartz which is mined from shiny Hexolite nodes scattered around Feybreak, and hefty amounts of Ore. When you have a good stock of those three materials, set your best Kindling Pals (preferably Level 3 or higher) to work at the Gigantic Furnace to make the Hexolite you need.
Meanwhile, Carbon Fiber can be produced at a Production Assembly Line II machine via one of two possible recipes. One uses Coal while the other requires Charcoal, which can be made with Wood and a lower-tier furnace. Whichever you prefer, make sure you have enough to make the required amount of Carbon Fiber.
Finally, Nightstar Sand is a material that can simply be gathered rather than made. To find it, you’ll need to travel to the sandy areas of either Feybreak Island or Sand Dunes Island and go during nighttime hours. That is because, as its name suggests, Nightstar Sand only appears at night. It can be distinctly identified by glowing patches on the ground, and all you have to do is interact with it to gather it. Make sure to find as many of these glowing nodes as possible before the sun rises.
Once you have all the aforementioned materials ready, the Advanced Bow can be crafted either at a Production Assembly Line II or a Weapon Assembly Line II machine. Whichever you prefer, the weapon’s recipe will be the same. Have your best Handiwork Pals ready once you’ve queued the crafting job, and you should have your Advanced Bow ready in short order.
While it may not shoot as fast as other ranged weapons in Palworld such as the Assault Rifle, the Advanced Bow still boasts a staggering 5800 Attack Power. Mind you, that’s only its Common-tier stats. Be aware that in order to make use of the Advanced Bow, you will also need to craft Advanced Arrows. This powerful tier of ammo requires Hexolite and Stone, so try and plan to have some extra ingots on hand for this as well.
