Now, fans can obtain five of these Overwatch 2 Loot Boxes with minimal effort. There is a new Discord Quest available until February 25 via the desktop app that, when claimed, prompts players to play Overwatch 2 for 15 minutes. This time does not need to be spent in a match – viewing the Hero Gallery or being on the main menu progresses the quest all the same. Once complete, fans will receive a code that can be redeemed on the Battle.net app to credit five Loot Boxes to their account, though players may need to restart Overwatch 2 in order to have them appear in their game.
How to Complete Overwatch 2 Season 15 Discord Quest
-
Navigate to the Discover icon at the bottom of the Discord server list, then find the Quests button at the bottom of the Discover list.
- Quests can also be accepted from the Quest Bar, which sometimes appears as an alert in the app.
- Discord Quests can currently only be completed on PC.
- Accept the Overwatch 2 Perked Up Quest.
-
Launch Overwatch 2 and play for 15 minutes.
- Fans do not need to be in a match in order to progress through the Quest.
-
Return to the Discord Quests menu and claim the code.
- The Quest must be accepted and completed between now and February 25.
- Redeem the code in the Battle.net desktop app to earn five Loot Boxes.
Previously, Overwatch 2 said there would be methods of acquiring over 100 loot boxes during Season 15. Game director Aaron Keller made mention of multiple Discord programs, and the Overwatch 2 Perked Up event is going to be a season-long celebration full of tons of Loot Boxes. All things considered, there is a good chance Overwatch 2 will put out even more of these Discord Quests in later weeks during Season 15.
Players looking for more Loot Boxes can find some on the Battle Pass, through evergreen weekly challenges, and via the in-game Perked Up event challenges. These weekly quests provide up to 10 Loot Boxes fans can earn – but during the first week, players can also unlock Rainy Day Mercy, an adorable cosmetic that matches the Rainy Day Mei skin available as an Overwatch 2 Twitch Drop right now.
