While fans wait for Season 2, it seems that Season 3 is more than likely to happen, as a major update has dropped concerning the production of the third season.

The Writer’s Room For the Third Season Has Started

One Piece Live Action season 2 is not even out yet, but it has been confirmed that the writers’ room for the third season is already underway.

The series staff has also been confirmed, as Joseph Tracz and Matt Owens will both be the Showrunners and Executive Producers for this new season of One Piece Live Action.

It’s important to note that Netflix is yet to confirm a Season 3 renewal for One Piece Live Action. The fact that the writer’s room has been confirmed, however, is a huge positive sign and shows how confident they are with this series.

When Will One Piece Live Action Season 3 Drop?

One Piece Live Action season 3 will not be released anytime soon, as it hasn’t even started filming yet. In fact, fans are still waiting for season 2 of the One Piece Live Action, which has just finished production recently.

One Piece Live Action season 2 doesn’t have an exact date of release yet, but it will likely drop in 2025. This is vague, but it is the best fans have for now until further information drops.

It’s more than likely that One Piece Live Action season 3 drops sometime in 2027, although that is just speculation for now. Fans will have to wait and see how it all goes down, and if the second season is even successful enough for a third season to be worked upon.

What Will One Piece Live Action Season 3 Be About?

One Piece Live Action Season 2 will cover a huge part of the Arabasta Saga, but not the Arabasta arc itself. It will go on and wrap up around Drum Island, the country where Chopper is recruited.

So, this leaves One Piece Live Action Season 3 with the Arabasta arc itself to adapt, which will likely take up the entire season as it is a longer arc compared to the others. One Piece Live Action Season 3 will definitely be a highlight as the story really picks up during the Arabasta arc when the Straw Hats fight Baroque Works.
