Her Acidic Quirk Is A Power And Unique One
Even though Mina is not one of the main heroes of the series, she makes up for it by displaying immense acts of courage and having a strong hold on her quirk. She is also always ready to challenge the odds even though they may not be in her favor. This is seen with her encounter with Gigantomachia during the Paranormal Liberation War. She was able to lie to the giant and successfully got him to leave before he could inflict harm on her classmates. Even though she feared the situation she was in, she still stood her ground against an opponent she would not have had a chance of defeating on her own. Apart from being a beacon of energy, Mina is also the person who boosts the morale of her classmates and pushes them to stay positive even during hard times, a valuable skill to have apart from her combat skills.

Mina is also seen to be very athletic and is recognized as one of the best female members in her class. This is seen when she was able to dodge Yuga’s laser attacks even though it was launched towards her at immense speeds. During the joint training battle, which is a friendly battle between the students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B, Mina showed incredible power by effectively using her quirk and tag teaming with Minoru. Her teamwork also shows her ability to easily bond and work with anyone easily if it means winning. Mina’s acid is also so powerful, that it was able to melt through Gigantomachia’s armored skin, a feat that is not practically impossible for some heroes.
