Mortal Kombat 1 teases new gameplay of T-1000, showcasing one of his fatalities while also teasing a surprising new Kameo fighter. After a period of discontent from fans, Mortal Kombat 1 has been enjoying a period of renewed interest from fans, thanks in large part to the most recent Conan update, which also added a secret fight with a new character.
Secret fights in the Mortal Kombat franchise are nothing new, as the long-running series has used these battles to introduce characters that would eventually go on to become roster mainstays, like Reptile and Jade. With the release of Conan the Barbarian, Mortal Kombat 1 added a pink ninja named Floyd, challenging players to figure out how to fight him and then, should they be successful, unlock a bunch of content and new stage. It’s unknown if the next update will include something else similar, but fans don’t have to wait too much longer for the next character.

Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals Surprising New Kameo Fighter
One of the more unique gameplay elements is the Kameo system in Mortal Kombat 1. After picking their main character, players select a secondary character that can be called upon to assist at times in the match. The roster has mostly included classic characters, but NetherRealm has continued to add interesting options through the DLC and with T-1000, the studio is adding Madam Bo as the next selectable Kameo. Both T-1000 and Madam Bo are joining the game on March 18 for Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns players.
With T-1000 launching in March, fans should expect to see more about the update in the coming weeks. It’s unknown whatelse NetherRealm has planned for the game, but dataminers may have uncovered some of those ideas. Quitalities and Hara-Kiri finishers may be coming to MK1 thanks to files and animations found by dataminers, with only Conan and Omniman not having either. Without official word from NetherRealm, fans should take the findings with a grain of salt for now.
