It's Your Last Chance to Claim the Free PS Plus Games for September 2024

September 30 is the last day that PlayStation Plus members can redeem their three free games for September 2024, as October 2024’s monthly games lineup is going live soon. Once claimed, PlayStation Plus members may download and play these titles at any time while maintaining an active subscription at any tier.

Every month, Sony introduces a lineup of monthly free games for PS Plus Essential subscribers. For $79.99 a year, the PS Plus Essential tier also gives subscribers exclusive discounts and content, cloud storage, Share Play functionality, and access to online multiplayer with their favorite games. PS Plus Extra and Premium members may also take advantage of these benefits and redeem their monthly games. The September 2024 batch of PS Plus games consists of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, Little Nightmares 2, and MLB The Show 24. These three games were first made available to redeem on September 3, and time is quickly running out before the October 2024 lineup goes live on Tuesday, October 1.

Today is the last chance that PS Plus members may redeem Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, Little Nightmares 2, and MLB The Show 24 for free on their PlayStation Network account. Players may redeem these titles directly from the PlayStation Store on their PS4 or PS5 consoles and begin to download their games if enough storage space is available. Those away from their console may also redeem the titles by logging into an account with an active PS Plus membership on browsers or the PlayStation mobile app. If a PS4 or PS5 console is synced to the PS app, players may immediately begin to download their PS Plus games to their consoles as well. The app also allows users to browse their entire game library, including past titles they redeemed with PS Plus.

It’s worth noting that these games cannot be played if the PS Plus subscription is canceled, however. PlayStation fans will need to renew their PS Plus subscription to regain access to their redeemed games. This applies to titles from the monthly PS Plus Extra and Premium game catalog as well.

Revealed at the September 24 State of Play, the October 2024 batch of PS Plus games includes WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. PS Plus subscribers may redeem these PS4 and PS5 games from October 1 to November 4. Sony will likely reveal its PS Plus November 2024 monthly games lineup near the end of October.
