how to deal poison fire electric damage in coridden

Infusing normal attacks with elemental types is one of the combat features in Coridden to increase the damage output and craft creative builds, but they are also important to get rid of certain obstacles or turn on certain devices that require elemental damage. The players will face these obstacles even more throughout the side quests.

However, the campaign progression also requires access to Electrical and Poison damage. So, you’d be better off learning about where to obtain these elemental damage types early on than trying to figure it out when a spider web or an overgrown tree blocks the road ahead.

How To Deal Elemental Damage in Coridden

Equipment Menu CoriddenOne of the best and easiest ways to deal elemental damage in Coridden is to find creature projectiles. If you open the Equipment menu, there is a slot on the bottom right that indicates the nature of the creature form’s ranged attack. So, this will require the player to gather as much loot as possible, either by searching the chests or killing the hostile creatures roaming around in each region. Getting Electric and Fire elemental damages is quite easy this way. But poison damage doesn’t drop much earlier and requires more progress. Another way to deal elemental damage is to switch to certain creature forms that feature elemental damaging skill in their skill tree. Scaptor, for example, features a Venomous Stingers skill that allows the player to deal Poison damage with melee attacks for a limited time after activating the skill.Lastly, there are also skills that allow the human of the player character to deal elemental damage through melee or ranged attacks. The table below showcases the class and type of elemental damage for each skill with such capability:
Skill Name Element Type Skill Class
Electrified Arrows Electric Conductor
Homing Missiles Electric Conductor
Electron Heal Electric Conductor
Lightning Strike Electric Conductor
Photon Chain Electric Conductor
Tempest Electric Conductor
Tractable Plasma Electric Conductor
Thunderstorm Electric Conductor
Thieving Sphere Electric Energizer
Rebound Blade Electric Energizer
Energy Blades Electric + Heat Energizer
Total Discharge Electric Energizer
Gas Bomb Poison Trickster
Imbue Arrow Poison Ranger
Extraction Poison Ranger
Shatter Shot Poison Ranger
Inferno Lance Heat Berserker
Fire Burst Heat Pyromancer
Flame Blade Heat Pyromancer
Flame Engulfment Heat Pyromancer
Flame Strike Heat Pyromancer
Flame Jet Heat Pyromancer
Line of Fire Heat Pyromancer
Meteor Rain Heat Pyromancer

One of the easiest methods to earn all the Elemental damage types is to unlock the Electrified Arrows through the Conductor skill tree for the human form, as Electric damage is required earlier in the game to require energy for some devices and complete the campaign quests. Then, you can add Ranger as your second class and unlock Imbue Arrow ability. Finally, add Pyromancer as the third and final class to benefit from Fire Burst or other skills to deal heat damage.

Keep in mind that respecing the class upgrades is always available in Coridden. So, as long as you have enough coins, there is no need to worry about the wrong purchases.
