Fortnite Battle Royale offers players various free rewards that they can acquire. From free skins like Explorer Emilie to additional Gliders earned through victory, simply playing the game’s various modes can yield some exclusive items for players to get their hands on. That’s not all though, as Fortnite has also teamed up with Discord to allow players to obtain a Fortnite-themed reward for their Discord accounts.
Fortnite has collaborated with Discord before, allowing players to obtain the Victory Crown Avatar Decoration. How To Accept The Fortnite Discord Quest
The first step to claim the Rift Butterfly is to accept the Fortnite Quest in Discord. To do so, players will need to:
- Open Discord and navigate to the Discover tab.
- Locate the Fortnite Quest and select ‘Accept Quest.’
- Choose the platform on which to complete the quest (choices include Desktop and Console).
Quests can only be accepted on Desktop and Console. Additionally, players must have Discord installed on the device they use to play Fortnite before proceeding to the next step.
Before players progress to the next step, ensure your online status is set to “online” if you are playing on a console, as some users have reported that appearing offline may cause progress not to be tracked.
How To Claim The Rift Butterfly Avatar Decoration
Once players have accepted the Fortnite Quest, they will need to play Fortnite for a total of 15 minutes. Any Fortnite mode will suffice, but players must ensure Discord is installed on the device they are using to track quest progress. Reload and Battle Royale are both great options to pass the time, though players can also choose to dive into LEGO Fortnite or Creative Maps to rack up their 15 minutes of game time. For those simply looking to kick back and relax, keeping Fortnite open for 15 minutes without playing will also complete the requirement.
Upon playing for a total of 15 minutes, the Rift Butterfly will be available to claim. To do so, head back to the Fortnite Quest in Discord and select “Claim Reward.” Discord users will then be prompted to use the Avatar by selecting “Use Now.”
The Fortnite Quest is available to accept until December 6, 2024.
Once players claim the Rift Butterfly Avatar Decoration, they can
use it for free for two months.
To unlock it permanently, players will need to purchase the Rift Butterfly Avatar Decoration from the Discord Shop.
