How to Get Punchy in Pocket Camp Complete
What Level to Unlock Punchy
Punchy can be unlocked anywhere from level 20-39. For every level in this range, you’ll unlock two animals. It’s possible that you won’t get Punchy as soon as you reach level 20, so you’ll want to keep leveling until you hit level 39. By level 39, you should have him in your Contacts list.
Once Punchy is unlocked, he’ll occasionally appear on the map for 3 hours. If you want to summon him immediately, you’ll have to use a Calling Card:
- Select the white circle icon above your planner on the menu and choose Contacts.
- Select the Cat tab to pull up every cat animal you currently have.
- Find Punchy and select Call. He will appear at his respective destination for 3 hours.
You can invite Punchy to your campsite when his friendship level is 5. You’ll also need to craft the following furniture:

How to Level Up Punchy Quickly
After Punchy has been invited to your campsite, you’ll need to raise his friendship level to 15. Doing this will unlock his Special Request, which is what you need to make the Cat Tower.
As long as Punchy is at your campsite, and you’re completing any Requests he may have, you’ll have him leveled in no time. When speaking to Punchy, choose any dialogue options in red. While he’s at your campsite, he may ask you to bring him a collectible item or if you can change his outfit.
If you set Punchy as your Camp Caretaker, he can get 5-15 Friendship points a day. Camp Caretakers will gather items for you and give you gifts. Each time they complete a task, you’ll earn some experience.
The quickest way to level up Punchy is to give him snacks. Snacks are gained from Gulliver’s Ship, but the type of snack you get will depend on the island. If you’re not seeing the right one, select the refresh icon in the upper-right corner of the screen on Gulliver’s Ship page.
Punchy’s type is Natural, so you’ll get more points if you gift him any of these three:
- Plain Waffle (3 points)
- Tasty Waffle (9 points)
- Gourmet Waffle (18 points)
You can also give him the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats. These Treats are categorized as generic, which means they’ll give the same number of friendship points to all animals. Bronze gives 3, Silver gives 10, and Gold gives 25.
Cat Tower Crafting Recipe
Once you’ve accepted Punchy’s Special Request, you can craft the Cat Tower at any time. It’s a Special Request item, so it’ll take almost a full day to craft. It needs 9800 Bells and will take up 23 hours to complete. You’re also going to need the following materials:
- x2 Sparkle Stones
- x4 Cute Essence
- x75 Cotton
- x75 Steel
