How To Find The Handgun in Silent Hill 2
If you’re observant, you might find a note that mentions neighbors complaining about gunfire in Apartment 217. This is a clue that Handgun is located in Apartment 217 in Wood Side Apartments.
However, before you can grab the Handgun, you’ll need to solve the puzzle in the East South Vale and find the 2F Hallway Key to get to Room 217. Here’s a quick walkthrough of how you can get the Handgun in Silent Hill 2 Remake:
- Once you’re in the lobby of the Wood Side Apartments, find the bulletin board and grab the map. Explore the rooms nearby thoroughly and grab all the Handgun Ammo you can get.
- When you’re done, head up the stairs and go to the second floor. Enter Apartment 202 and collect the Flashlight and Chute Courtyard Key.
- Come back down to the first floor and use the Chute Courtyard Key to unlock the door on the right of the reception desk.
- Drag the empty laundry bin under the open window and jump through the window to enter Apartment 112.
- From there, enter the hallway, and you’ll see a key lying on the floor, across from the bars. Try to grab the key and use it to unlock the nearby door. This will take you to the east wing of the building.
- Fight the Lying Figures and search all the apartments in this area.
- Continue down the hallway until you reach the other side of the bars. Pick up the 2F Hallway Key near Apartment 107. Search Room 108 and grab the Golden Apple Handle, which you’ll need for the Coin Cabinet puzzle later.
- With the 2F Hallway Key in hand, go up the stairs and enter Apartment 203.
- Enter through the hole in the wall of Apartment 203 and Apartment Room 217. Here, you’ll find the Handgun inside a grocery cart in the middle of the living room.
