Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals Anaxa's Signature Light Cone

A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail provides a detailed explanation of the stats and unique abilities of new character Anaxa’s signature Light Cone. The HoYoverse sci-fi RPG features plenty of ways for players to enhance and optimize their characters, both on an individual level and through new equipment options. Relics serve as generic options that can be utilized by a wide range of different characters, while Traces and Eidolons improve a character’s own abilities and provide special buffs. However, Light Cones are often seen as one of the most paramount pieces of character building.

Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail fill a similar design space to Genshin Impact‘s Weapons, with each character only being able to equip 1 Light Cone at a time. Light Cones often provide powerful unique effects alongside their sizable stat boosts, meant to be utilized by particular characters to greater effect than others. Each new five-star character also releases with their own “signature” Light Cone, boasting a powerful effect that is often best used by its associated roster member. Now, new character Anaxa’s signature Light Cone looks to provide powerful Crit and DEF-shredding effects.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Shows Anaxa’s Five-Star Light Cone

A new post shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Sakura Haven is showing off Anaxa’s signature Light Cone. Dubbed “Life Could Be Cast To Flames,” Anaxa’s five-star Erudition Light Cone will grant respectable stats with 952 HP, 582 ATK, and 529 DEF when fully leveled. The Light Cone’s unique ability, “Smelt,” grants a base Crit Rate increase of 18% alongside the wearer regenerating 10 Energy at the start of every turn. The Light Cone also features a DEF shred effect, reducing the DEF of enemies who receive debuffs from the wearer’s active abilities by 6% for two turns.

• Smelt: Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%. Wearer regenerates 10 Energy at the start of the turn. When the wearer actively uses an ability, reduces the DEF of enemy targets who get debuffed during the ability period by 6% for 2 turns, up to a max of 2 stacks.

Anaxa’s signature Light Cone is set to be a powerful addition to the game, not only for its newest character but pre-existing cast members as well. An 18% Crit Rate bonus will be a sizable boost to Erudition characters relying on Crit stats, while the energy regeneration will allow the wearer to spam their Ultimate more often. Debuff-focused characters will also appreciate teaming up with characters using the Light Cone, thanks to its additional DEF reduction. Anaxa’s signature Light Cone will release alongside his debut during Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.2.

Anaxa’s release will bring another powerful Erudition option to players’ teams since the launch of Amphoreus. The fourth playable world’s introduction brought with it the long-awaited addition of The Herta, serving as a powerful Follow-Up Attack DPS. Anaxa could also pair well in team compositions alongside The Herta, with the Version 3.0 five-star wanting allies that can repeatedly perform AoE attacks. Anaxa and his signature Light Cone should look to provide a pair of powerful options for a wide variety of Star Rail teams.
