Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 Special Program Release Date and Time Revealed

A new Honkai: Star Rail announcement has confirmed the exact time and date for the upcoming Special Program event for update 2.7. Honkai: Star Rail has consistently hosted livestream events a few days before each update, revealing much of the new content.

Since the game’s release, HoYoverse has introduced approximately two five-star characters per update, with Rappa being the most recent addition. There have been exceptions, such as the upcoming Phase 2 banner for Version 2.6, which features two rerun characters, Aventurine and Acheron.

The game’s official Twitter account has revealed more information about the long-awaited livestream event for update 2.7, officially titled “A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn.” According to the announcement, the Special Program event for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 is scheduled for November 22 at 19:30 (UTC+8). HoYoverse has already confirmed that this update will feature two new five-star characters: Sunday and Fugue. Based on the order of their announcement, Sunday will likely be featured in the first part of the update, while Fugue will appear in the second banner cycle. Judging by the end dates of the 2.6 banners, Honkai: Star Rail fans can expect Version 2.7 to officially launch around November 30.
