A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed the splash art for Mavuika, the Pyro Archon of Natlan, and one of the most anticipated characters since Arlecchino. It’s no secret that Genshin Impact is setting the stage for an exciting round of beta testing. Not only is Version 5.3 meant to conclude the Archon Quests in Natlan, but the upcoming patch will seemingly feature Citlali, Mavuika, the Pyro Traveler, and a new Liyue 4-Star character for the Lantern Rite.
Mavuika in Genshin Impact is expected to draw plenty of attention from players, as she will be both an Archon character and a chance for the developers to introduce a 5-star alternative to Xiangling. While the information on her ability kit is somewhat chaotic at present, two things have remained consistent: Mavuika will have an exploration ability tied to her motorbike, and she will provide some form of coordinated off-field Pyro attacks. The former potentially implies that Mavuika will be able to engage with any Natlan exploration mechanic, while the latter bodes well for players who were worried Mavuika would exclusively be another Pyro hypercarry.

Every Genshin Impact 5.3 Leak and Rumor So Far
Ahead of Genshin Impact’s 5.3 update, several recent leaks and rumors have already surfaced regarding features expected for this upcoming update.
The splash art comes from Seele Leaks, and shows Mavuika riding on top of her motorbike, which certainly lends plenty of credence to earlier leaks that talked about Mavuika’s ability kit in Genshin Impact. Players can see the silhouettes of the six modern heroes of Natlan in the flames behind Mavuika, which is both a unique and fitting detail to have. Seele Leaks clarified that Mavuika, like Furina, would have two unique illustrations, and that her drip marketing would feature the Pyro Archon in a different pose entirely.
Genshin Impact’s Mavuika Leaks Explained
All signs point towards Mavuika featuring on the Event Banners in the first half of Version 5.3. However, what her kit entails is still the subject of speculation. The current two leaks propose that Mavuika can become a hypercarry in a similar way to Raiden in Genshin Impact, and that her ability kit reduces the defense rating of affected enemies. However, one of the leaks also claims that Mavuika’s Elemental Burst does not consume any energy, and instead accumulates stacks based off of the fluctuation of Nightsoul points across the party. Unless Mavuika provides the Nightsoul mechanic to non-Natlan characters, this may controversially lock her best teams to Natlan.
Apart from using it to explore Natlan in Genshin Impact, the motorbike allegedly comes into play both during her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Tapping the Elemental Skill produces a ring of fire that applies Pyro, while holding down the button allows Mavuika to ride her bike and use it in combat. Mavuika’s Elemental Burst rams the motorbike into a group of enemies, which likely causes a high amount of Pyro damage. While Genshin Impact players should take leaks with a grain of salt, the splash art appears to be genuine, and information on her ability kit will soon become available once beta footage starts to emerge.
