Travelers are back to Inazuma in version 5.4 to celebrate the Mikawa Festival with their old friends in Genshin Impact. Alongside the festival, many events are being held by both humans and youkai, with Travelers playing the role of the festival’s ambassador and testing the events.

One of the events is called Bunshin Phantasm — created by Sayu, Yoimiya, and Kichiboushi — where players’ movements will be recorded by Muji-Muji Daruma and will be used to create a path to the goal. While the early stages showcase simple challenges, the later stages prove to be a bit difficult for some players. Here’s how to complete each stage of Bunshin Phantasm in Genshin Impact.

How to Complete Bunshin Phantasm Challenges in Genshin Impact

Bunshin Phantasm is one of the gameplay from the Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival event in Genshin Impact. Players can find the mini-games inside this event at Chinju Forest in Inazuma. Of course, they must complete the first part of the Event Quest to unlock the gameplay, and it can be accessed from the event page.

In the Bunshin Phantasm challenge, Travelers must reach the destination within 3 rounds with the help of Muji-Muji Daruma. In each round, the player’s action will be recorded by the doll, and when the next round begins, the Muji-Muji Daruma will imitate the player’s movements from the previous round.

Use the mechanism of Muji-Muji Daruma to stand on a pressure plate of certain colors to unlock the bridges of corresponding colors. When either players or Muji-Muji Daruma leaves the pressure plate, the bridge will immediately disappear.

Before starting to move in the first round of each challenge, Travelers will have a look in the Overview mode and view the entire challenge area from above. Take advantage of this mode as it will help players to analyze the best actions to use and create bridges, especially in the final challenge where the stage is bigger than in the early challenge.

Bunshin Phantasm Stage 1 Guide – Muji-Muji Daruma’s Mystery Weight

The first stage of Bunshin Phantasm is relatively easy as there are only two bridges to cross and players will have two Muji-Muji Daruma. As long as players understand the rules, the challenge can be completed within a minute. Here’s how to complete the stage:

1. In the first round after starting the challenge, walk to the red pressure plate and end the round.
2. In the second round, wait until the first Muji-Muji Daruma moves to the red pressure plate to create the red bridge. Then, cross the bridge and walk to the yellow pressure plate before ending the round.
3. In the final round, wait for the two dolls to move to their respective pressure plates to create the bridges and walk to the final destination.

Bunshin Phantasm Stage 2 Guide – Steady Rules for Maintaining Order

The second stage of Bunshin Phantasm is testing the water and now increasing the difficulty by a small margin. This time, players need to cross 3 bridges to reach the destination with only 2 Muji-Muji Daruma. The solution to this puzzle can be seen below:

1. In the first round, walk to the green pressure plate and end the round.
2. In the second round, wait until the green bridge appears before walking over and stepping on the red circle for 5 seconds.
3. After that, move to the yellow pressure plate before ending the round.
4. In the final round, wait until the green bridge appears for players and the second Muji-Muji Daruma to cross. Then, the latter will step on the pressure plates in order to create the bridges for Travelers to pass over and reach the destination.

Bunshin Phantasm Stage 3 Guide – The Gate Impregnable

Starting in this stage, a new feature will be added to Bunshin Phantasm of Genshin Impact called Floating Flower Keys. When players or Muji-Muji Daruma approach these keys, they will be collected and used to open the Flower Gates.

If players do not take the key, the gate will hinder players’ movement, and it will become impossible to complete the stage as they can’t glide or climb over the gate. The third challenge has three bridges and one Flower Gate for players to unlock and here’s the correct route to complete the challenge:

1. In the first round, step on the red pressure plate for around 7 seconds (until Travelers feel there’s enough time to move across the bridge and come back), then move to the yellow pressure plate before ending the round.
2. In the second round, wait until the red bridge appears, then cross it to get the Floating Flower Key. Once players get the key, move back immediately to the center platform before the red bridge disappears.
3. Wait until the yellow bridge appears, walk over it and step on the green pressure plate before ending the round.
4. In the final round, wait until the two Muji-Muji Daruma fill their roles in creating the respective bridges and getting the key before you move to the final destination.

Bunshin Phantasm Stage 4 Guide – Key Mechanisms That Shouldn’t Be Misjudged

The fourth challenge has similar solutions to the previous stage where a single Muji-Muji Daruma needed to create multiple bridges while also getting the Floating Flower Key, and this stage took the difficulty to the next level. Follow the guide below to solve the challenge:

1. In the first round, step on the red pressure plate for ten seconds, then move to the green pressure plate for another ten seconds, before walking back to the red pressure plate and ending the round.
2. In the second round, wait until the red bridge materializes and walk across to get to the Floating Flower Key. Then, immediately move back to the central platform.
3. Wait for the green bridge to emerge before stepping over to the yellow pressure plate and ending the round.
4. In the final round, wait until the two Muji-Muji Daruma create the red and yellow bridge at the same time before going over to the destination.

Bunshin Phantasm Stage 5 Guide – An Unsolvable Conundrum

Genshin Impact cranks up the difficulty of the final stage with five bridges and two Floating Flower Keys. While it may seem impossible to solve with just two Muji-Muji Daruma, it’s relatively easy once players get to see the overview of the whole stage and understand the route. Here’s the solution for the fifth stage of Bunshin Phantasm:

1. In the first round, step on the blue pressure plate for ten seconds, then move to the yellow pressure plate for another ten seconds, before walking back to the blue pressure plate and ending the round.
2. In the second round, wait until the blue bridge appears and walk across to get to the first Floating Flower Key. Then, walk back to the central platform before the blue bridge disappear.
3. Now, wait for the yellow bridge to emerge before stepping over to the red pressure plate for a few seconds.
4. After that, walk over the blue bridge once it surfaces and step on the green pressure plate before ending the round.
5. In the final round, wait until the yellow bridge appears before walking over, then for the red bridge to emerge to get the second Floating Flower Key on the left platform.
6. Walk back to the platform in the middle and wait until the blue bridge appears for players and the second Muji-Muji Daruma to cross. The doll will create a green bridge for Travelers to walk over and reach the final destination safely.
