Funko Fusion Adding 4 Classic Universal Monsters as DLC

In collaboration with Funko, Inc. and Universal Products and Experiences, developer 10:10 Games has unveiled four classic Universal Monsters that will be making their way to Funko Fusion in an exclusive DLC pack. Based on the Funko Pop toy line, Funko Fusion features a crossover of dozens of fandoms and beloved IPs, and this latest team-up with Universal will see some of the film studio’s most iconic characters brought to life in a new way.

Released on September 13, 2024, Funko Fusion is an action-adventure game that sees players taking on the role of Funko Pop characters as they explore hand-crafted worlds based on beloved franchises. All the characters in Funko Fusion feature unique weapons and special moves that add an extra layer of themed immersion. Looking to build upon previous collaborations, Funko Fusion has revealed its next offerings for players to experience.

Funko Fusion has announced a brand-new Universal Monsters DLC pack, which will add four classic horror icons to the colorful world of Funko. The Universal Monsters will be the latest icons from the legendary film studio to join the game’s character lineup, with existing Universal IPs in Funko Fusion including Jurassic Park, JAWS, and Back to the Future. Players will be able to enjoy the classic monsters in their Funko Pop forms while trying out the exclusive game abilities available to each character. The Universal Monsters DLC Pack for Funko Fusion can be purchased for $9.99 and unlocks all four monsters.

Universal Monsters Now Available in Funko Fusion

The four Universal monsters coming to Funko Fusion are Dracula, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, and the Wolf Man. Dracula will have a special bat transformation and crossbow, the Bride will have a Frankenstein-inspired electric gun, the Invisible Man will have a short sword wrapped in his own bandages, and the Wolf Man will be able to run around on all fours. Each monster will utilize its themed skill set to explore the various worlds in Funko Fusion while introducing a family-friendly horror twist to the game.

Audiences have voiced an appreciation for video games like Fortnite and Funko Fusion bringing different franchises together in a unique way. From modern cartoon characters to the classic Universal monsters, many have been happy to see IP crossovers that otherwise may not exist outside of gaming.
