A prominent Fortnite leaker has revealed that up to four major Marvel characters could be coming to the battle royale in early December. Marvel and Fortnite have a long history of crossovers. The two had a massive collaboration in 2020 when Chapter 2 Season 4 featured a whole battle pass filled with exclusive Marvel skins. Fortnite recently had another Marvel-themed season to close out Chapter 5. While these seasons brought many new cosmetics to the game through battle passes, plenty of Marvel characters from movies, comics, and television have regularly made their way to the battle royale through the item shop.

Fortnite just ended its latest season, Chapter 2 Remix. The celebration of the game’s past included collaborations with rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and the late artist Juice WRLD. The finale event took place at the end of November and even broke Fortnite‘s record for concurrent players. Epic Games followed up the finale by releasing Chapter 6 Season 1. The game’s newest map and battle pass feature Japanese themes along with a wealth of new collaboration characters like Big Hero 6‘s Baymax and Godzilla.

Prominent leaker ShiinaBR broke the news of two more collaborations between Marvel and Fortnite on Twitter. The first will feature another crossover with Marvel Rivals when Doom 2099 arrives on the island as soon as December 9. Fortnite players can also earn a free cosmetic by playing Marvel Rivals when the new hero-shooter releases on December 6, 2024. However, before that crossover, fans could be treated to three new characters from Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse franchise. These characters may include Spider-Punk, Spider-Man Noir, and Peter B. Parker.
