Key Takeaways

  • Epic Games improved the previews of Fortnite Synced Emotes to show two players instead of one, making them more accurate.
  • Synced Emotes now allow players to see previews of other participants, which could make them more enticing to those looking to purchase them.

Epic Games has improved Fortnite Synced Emotes so that gamers can see them being used by two players instead of only showing one. Fortnite added its first Synced Emote during Chapter 2 Season 1, but this adjustment may make them more enticing for prospective buyers.

The annual Fortnitemares event has just begun, bringing with it many new cosmetics to the game. Among these are Billy the Puppet from Saw, The Pumpkin King and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which some fans eagerly await. Like other seasons, the map is Halloween-themed, and players can once again queue for the Horde Rush LTM. Despite being teased for October 11, the Fortnite update was delayed to October 12 for some last-minute adjustments. Despite the Fortnitemares update including a plethora of changes, some players have noticed a small quality-of-life updated introduced ahead of the content drop that makes viewing Synced Emotes a lot easier.

Reddit user Jimmie118 is among many players highlighting recent changes to the Fortnite Synced emotes. The gamer shared a video focusing on the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 Wolverine skin performing the Bust a Move Icon Series Emote. The video preview of the skin shows two Wolverines dancing together when it previously only showed one, helping to give players an idea of how the Emote syncs with another player. The video then highlights the Hey Now!, Hooray, Jump Around, Lil’ Supercar, Master of Puppets, Heart Sign, Get Schwifty, and Fusion! Hah!! Synced Emotes. Lil’ Supercar and Master of Puppets show four Wolverines in the preview, with the Marvel Superhero taking the place of other gamers who can join the Synced Emote.

Players can join Synced Emotes by approaching a player who has initiated one and pressing the interact button. While every gamer doesn’t have to own the Emote to interact with players using it, they’ll have to buy it if they wish to be the player who initiates it. Though many gamers are delving into the massive Fortnitemares update, this Synced Emote change to the Item Shop and Locker was seemingly part of a hotfix. Some players hail the Synced Emote preview as one of the best small changes to the game during Chapter 5 Season 4. Chapter 5 Season 4 included plenty of changes, including new Mythics and subsequent adjustments to them, new boss enemies like Doctor Doom, and fresh weapons and items.

As players couldn’t previously see what these emotes would look like when synced with others, this preview may encourage some gamers to buy more synced emotes. With Epic Games continuing to update Fortnite regularly, other suggestions from the community will hopefully be implemented in the future.
