As for mods, Farming Simulator has a whole section dedicated to mods that are compatible with those using the game’s crossplay features on its modding website.
How Crossplay Works In Farming Simulator 25
There are three main multiplayer options, all of which support crossplay. The first option is the ability to join a game. This allows players to either join a friend’s existing game or look through a list of open sessions that they can join.
The second option is the create game option. This allows you to start up your own game and configure the settings however you see fit. You can control the crossplay options and create games that are open to everyone or open to friends only. You can also select how many players can be on your server at any given time. If you are playing on PC, then you can select between a maximum player count of 2 and 16. However, the more players you have, the better internet connection you’ll need to keep things running smoothly.
The final option gives you the ability to rent a dedicated server. This option is for the more hardcore gamers out there. The servers offer excellent performance levels and can cost as little as a few dollars per month. This option gives players not only a better level of overall performance but also better security measures.
