Disney Pixel RPG: Every Method for Getting Blue Crystals
In Disney Pixel RPG, Blue Crystal is the free-to-play currency for gacha pulls, and you need 3,000 of them to perform ten pulls on each banner. There’s also a paid currency called Red Crystals that can unlock characters at a more reasonable exchange rate.

Disney Pixel RPG players can progress way faster if they utilize beginner tips and tricks provided in this article.
Unless you pre-registered for Disney Pixel RPG, you’ll start the game with zero Blue Crystals. (Players who pre-registered receive about 8,000 Blue Crystals at the start.) And this raises the critical question: how can players obtain more Blue Crystals? Fortunately, there are several straightforward methods to acquire this currency.
Earn Blue Crystals by Completing Daily Tasks
Job Center missions provide Blue Crystals as completion rewards. There are various mission types, including Daily, Rookie, Limited Time, and Main Quests, which progress the story. Each time you complete one of these tasks, you have a chance to earn Blue Crystals. The good news is that you can view the rewards for each task, allowing you to target those that offer Blue Crystals specifically.
Expeditions enable you to farm random items, including Blue Crystals. Although this feature is initially locked, you can send your characters on daily adventures to obtain valuable rewards after reaching a certain point in the story. Each Expedition lasts for 20 hours, with a small chance of earning rewards every 10 minutes. To maximize your chances of obtaining items, it’s best to let the explorers search for the full duration of their time.
Earning Blue Crystals from Expeditions is not very common;
you’re more likely to receive Pix
, an in-game currency, or Upgrade Pixels, which are necessary for level-ups. However, since these items contribute passively to your progress, they can ultimately increase your chances of obtaining Blue Crystals through other means.
Level Up Your Team to Win Blue Crystals
Every time you level up a character through Explorer Level-Up, you earn 100 Blue Crystals. To make the most of this method, ensure your high-potential characters—those you want to max out—are in your main party and actively fighting. Additionally, send them on frequent Expeditions to help their XP level increase more quickly.
You also earn Blue Crystals every time you level up your profile. (You can see your current profile level at the top-left corner of the screen.)
Upgrade Your Index Level to Unlock Crystal Bundles
Disney Pixel RPG‘s Index rewards you with Blue Crystals as it levels up. The Index serves as a repository for all your information, including encountered enemies, owned characters, and unlocked recipes. As you expand your data, your Index levels up, potentially giving you up to 10,000 Blue Crystals when fully maxed out.
To level up your Index, you can use four methods: 1) Earn points by unlocking more characters through the gacha menu, 2) level up characters using Upgrade Pixels, 3) enhance a character’s rarity (increase their star level), and 4) break characters’ limits with Medals.
Beat Quests on Hard Mode for Bigger Crystal Prizes
The Hard mode features reward stages that provide 100 Blue Crystals each. To unlock this mode, you must first complete all three stages of the game on Normal difficulty. Once accessible, you can attempt to defeat the tougher enemies in Hard mode to reach bonus stages, which are marked by a treasure chest on the overworld map.
There’s no need to win a battle to open these chests. Once you reach the bonus tile, simply tap it again to claim your Blue Crystals.
