To make Cacio e Pepe in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need access to The Storybook Vale expansion plus the following three ingredients:

  • Black Pepper
  • Elysian Grain
  • Flyleaf Feta

Add one of each ingredient above to any cooking station to make this simple yet tasty 3-star dish. Once cooked, you can eat Cacio e Pepe to replenish +379 energy or sell it at one of Goofy’s Stalls for 403 Gold Star Coins. You might also want to decorate a cozy corner of The Bind or elsewhere with this delicious-sounding dish.

You can find all the necessary ingredients to make Cacio e Pepe within just two of The Storybook Vale’s biomes, as follows:

Black Pepper

To get Black Pepper, head to the Elysian Fields in The Storybook Vale’s Mythopia biome, where you can buy a bag of Black Pepper Seeds from Goofy’s stall for 70 Gold Star Coins. You’ll have to plant and grow the Black Pepper Seeds, which have a growth time of around one hour and 30 minutes. Of course, you can always speed up the process with extras like Miracle Growth Potion if you have any. Otherwise, it’s worth planting plenty of Black Pepper Seeds so you can stock up on them to use in other Storybook Vale recipes.

Elysian Grain

Next up is Elysian Grain, a type of grain ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley that you can also grab from Goofy’s Stall in the Elysian Fields. You’ll have to fork out 240 Gold Star Coins for a piece of Elysian Grain, which is expensive. However, its high price is perhaps to be expected, given its description as a very fortunate golden grain.

While you’ll probably want to reserve it for cooking recipes, given its expensive price tag, you can also sell Elysian Grain for 130 Gold Star Coins or eat it to restore +50 energy.

Flyleaf Feta

The final ingredient you need to make Cacio e Pepe is, of course, cheese. However, you can’t just throw any old cheese into the cooking pot. Instead, you must add Flyleaf Feta, which you can only buy from Goofy’s Stall in The Bind for 150 Gold Star Coins. You can also sell Flyleaf Feta for 75 Gold Star Coins or eat to top up +100 energy.

That completes everything you need to whip up a cheesy and comforting bowl of Cacio e Pepe, which looks good enough to eat as perhaps the perfect recipe to cozy up with in one of The Bind’s various book nooks.
