What Happened to Garry the Prophet?
A Conspiracy Theorist That Was Kidnapped By Perhaps a Higher Power
Garry the Prophet resides in the dirt of Urmland Street, and wearing a garbage bag for a coat, he often proclaims conspiracies and twisted truths about the corporate overlords that run Night City in their lizard skins. Garry is just a run-of-the-mill conspiracy theorist, but it turns out there is actually some truth to what he spouts, as he sends V to watch a meeting between Maelstrom and corpo agents, with the corpo agents being not what they seem.
While it’s expected that Garry was simply killed for what he knew, in part to a Columbarium memorial stating “He knew too much, so THEY dealt with him.” Some still think that Garry might have been taken by whoever is responsible for Mr. Blue Eyes, as Garry’s friend tells V that Garry was kidnapped by people in suits with blue eyes, a stark detail for another unexplained mystery.

How Does the Zen Master Know What He Does?

The Zen Master seems to find V, and even understand their predicament, which doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense and adds to his mysterious origins.

Who is Controlling the Peralez Family?
Jefferson and Elizabeth Have Their Identities Stolen From Them to Control Night City
What begins as what might be an awkward request from Jefferson and Elizabeth Peralez, soon becomes a profound and terrifying mystery in their lives, as the mayoral candidate is being watched with his brain pattern altered by unknown powers. Jefferson and Elizabeth are victims of those in true control of Night City, and the pathways of their minds are being rewritten to be obedient and subservient.
What’s happening to the Peralez family is diabolical, as they are essentially having their identities removed from within, and the worst part is that there is nothing they can do to stop it from happening. While Mr. Blue Eyes can be seen in the distance, watching V’s conversation with Jefferson Peralez, it still begs the question of what organization is doing this, and for what purpose.

Who Killed Mayor Lucius Rhyne?
The Mayor of Night City Was Killed, But Who By?
Lucius Rhyne was running for re-election to be the mayor of Night City for eight years in a row. That was, until his unexpected death. What was first seen as just a heart attack, quickly became a conspiracy with his competitor for the mayoral candidacy, Jefferson Peralez, hiring a merc and a detective, V, and River Ward, to uncover how Lucius actually died, and what, or who killed him.
The investigation leads River and V to the Red Queen’s Race, a sex club where Rhyne’s braindance wreath was injected with a lethal virus. However, the truth behind the attack was never discovered, and there are far too many culprits. Was it rigged by the system? After all, River’s partner, Harold Han was involved, but so was Arasaka, Militech, and Weldon Holt, as seen by a secret meeting at Arasaka’s plaza. It’s a political mystery that remains unsolved, and since Night City moves on so fast, many citizens don’t seem to care.

Mr. Blue Eyes is seemingly everywhere, with his elusive fingers in all pies involved with Night City. Mr. Blue Eyes’ identity is entirely classified, and evidence of his existence simply does not exist.
What is known about Mr. Blue Eyes is how important he is. He watches over the mayoral candidate of Jefferson Peralez, he gives V a suicide mission for a casino in space, and he even saves Songbird’s life. The end goal of Mr. Blue Eyes is completely unclear, but what is clear is that he serves a higher power that controls all of Night City. Is he part of the Rogue AIs from beyond the Blackwall, or is he just a political figure that goes way above NUSA?

Will V Find a Cure?
V’s Condition is Terminal, Even After Help From Alt

There’s only one ending in which V can be cured, and that involves losing everything and everyone, so it’s not exactly a preferred way to survive. With most of the ending having V’s condition as terminal, despite Johnny’s removal, V is still wandering the Earth in search of a cure, whether that’s with the Aldecaldos, hoping Arasaka keeps their word, or helping the elusive Mr. Blue Eyes.

What is Alt Cunningham’s Plan?
Alt’s AI Could Have Sinister Ideas Beyond the Blackwall
After Alt Cunningham was kidnapped by Arasaka and placed into the Soulkiller program, her consciousness was not exactly digitized, but killed off into deep cyberspace. What remains in the Blackwall isn’t exactly Alt, but an AI construct of her identity. Alt is essentially a digital ghost, lurking in the Net, feeding off of other rogue AIs, agents that delve too deep, and whatever else she can find in the deep digital dark.
Alt has made it clear that she’s just an AI, and the Alt Cunningham Johnny knew no longer exists. However, it still doesn’t explain what this AI version of Alt wants beyond the Blackwall. Her hatred of Mikoshi and the necessity to go beyond the Blackwall could spell the end of the world if she grows further in power and controls an army of Rogue AIs. After all, that’s what the Voodoo Boys predict, and want.
