While players play only in two apartments on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map, the size of the map is quite huge compared to the actual play area in the game. In order to see the entire map, players will need to go to replay mode first, and then fly out from the balcony. The map spans an extremely large area, featuring several exciting points of interest, including but not limited to a racetrack, a castle, a stadium, and even a Ferris wheel. The race course seems to be getting the most interest from the community, with many players quite eager to try out the track.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Eagerly Waiting for Avalon’s Release

Fans were quick to note that this is actually a part of the Avalon map that is slated to be released in Warzone next year. However, many were unhappy about the fact that the map was pushed back so that the developers could bring back Verdansk. During one of the recent events, Activision confirmed that Verdansk will be returning to Warzone in Spring 2025. As far as Avalon is concerned, it is speculated to be released alongside the next Call of Duty game. However, some fans noted that they were eagerly waiting for the return of Verdansk as well, so it isn’t really a bad decision from the developers as such.

Some also pointed out that the long loading time and subpar performance of the map might be due to its huge size. However, others outlined that the subpar performance might be due to the graphic settings in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 not being properly tweaked instead. This is because the developers had implemented something similar for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, and other games like Overwatch 2 take a similar approach as well without facing many performance issues.
