Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has detailed everything coming to the game as part of its imminent Season 1 Reload. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update looks to add several new multiplayer maps, new weapons, Warzone ranked play, and the return of Call of Duty‘s annual holiday event, CODMAS.

It’s been over a month since gamers have gotten their hands on Treyarch’s latest Call of Duty: Black Ops entry, which received praise for its well crafted single-player campaign set in 1991 during the Gulf War. The game’s multiplayer and Zombies suites have been lauded as well, particularly Zombies, which saw the return of the classic round-based format for the first time since 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. That said, Black Ops 6‘s introduction of Omnimovement has left many fans split, with some feeling that the omnidirectional movement system isn’t very useful.

Partway through Black Ops 6‘s first season, Treyarch has unveiled everything it’s bringing to the game as part of its Season 1 Reloaded update later this week. Topping the list are two new 6v6 multiplayer maps in Hacienda and Racket, and a festive holiday version of the classic Black Ops map, Nuketown. A trio of new weapons are also on the way as part of the update: the AMR Mod 4 sniper, the Maelstrom shotgun, and a meat cleaver melee weapon.

Black Ops 6 Zombies is getting a lot of love with this new update as well with a new map named Citadelle des Morts, which will come with the new Doppelghast enemy type. Big new Zombies maps usually drop with new seasons, so it’s interesting to see one added as part of a mid-season refresh. Perhaps this means Treyarch has many more maps in store for future seasons. With Season 1 Reloaded, Zombies fans will also gain access to new Gobblegums, Augments, the new Vulture Aid perk, new Bastard Swords Wonder Weapons, and a training course among other useful items.

With the holidays just around the corner, Season 1 Reloaded will bring CODMAS back for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players. The limited-time holiday event will be host to several festive challenge sets and game modes across Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, including one mode that takes place on the Liberty Falls Zombies map. As always, several holiday-themed cosmetic bundles will be available to purchase via the COD Store as well.

Season 1 Reloaded is set to go live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 later this week, on December 5. It’s unknown how long the Nuketown Holiday map and the CODMAS event will run for, so players who are feeling festive should get their fill of the maps and modes before they’re gone. Call of Duty fans should also keep an eye out for more details surrounding Black Ops 6‘s collab with Netflix’s Squid Game, which is expected to go live before the end of Season 1, according to the Reloaded graphic.
