Published

on

Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans all received a class-specific Exotic to further enhance the powers of each Guardian in Destiny 2. For Titans, the Armor Perk combos are definitely interesting, and if players are lucky enough to acquire one of the best sets of perks for the Exotic Titan Mark, Stoicism, then they are going to prove themselves as one of the best Titans since Zavala and Saint-14.

Destiny 2’s new Exotic Class Armor can only be used while Prismatic is equipped, and they certainly add even more freedom to the potential. With plenty of Prismatic Aspects and Fragments, players will want to look to these Exotic Class item combos to create an incredible Titan.

Updated on October 2, 2024, by Jake Fillery: Now that Destiny 2: The Final Shape has been out for quite some time, players have spent plenty of time experimenting with the Exotic class item and Prismatic to ensure that the best Titan builds in Destiny 2 can carry through the endgame content. With the Exotic class item Stoicism ensuring versatility and synergy with a plethora of exotic abilities, the best exotic class item combos for Titans in Destiny 2 are well worth exploring for those random drops.

Empowers Other Abilities and Jolts Targets With Powered Melee Strikes

  • Spirit Of Inmost Light: Using an ability empowers the other two abilities, granting them improved energy regeneration.
  • Spirit Of Contact: Damaging a target with a powered melee causes all nearby enemies to suffer lightning strikes and become jolted.

The combination of Inmost Light and Contact provides players with an excuse to always be using their abilities, since by using one, the other two will be empowered to regenerate faster. For something like the Spirit of Contact, this greatly benefits the playstyle of those hard-punching titans, since each target hit with a powered melee will be jolted, causing further damage and even stun.

Being able to synergies these two exotics means that Titans can enjoy further punches with their builds, and all they need to do is decide which ability to pop to enhance their powered melee strikes. Whether it’s a lacking grenade or a safe barrier.

8 Spirit of the Eternal Warrior & Spirit of the Star-Eater

Extra Damage For Weapons Matching Super’s Element and Overcharged Super

For those seeking higher damage outputs with their Supers, then the combination of the Eternal Warrior and the Star-Eater is something to look towards. With Star-Eater in particular, players can enjoy the Hunter exotic to overcharge their Super by picking up Orbs of Power to grant themselves bonus damage. This pairs great with any Super, but for this combo, it’s dependent on what weapons players are running.

If players want extra Void damage from one of the strongest void exotics in the game, then run Twilight Arsenal, which will both boost all Void damage from weapons after the Super is done, but the Super itself also deals more damage thanks to Star-Eater’s overcharging.

7 Spirit of the Abeyant & Spirit of Alpha Lupi

Improve Aggression From Drengr’s Lash and Generate Healing Pulses From Barricades

  • Spirit Of The Abeyant: Improves Drengr’s Lash. Drengr’s Lash projectiles track targets more aggressively and travel further.
  • Spirit Of Alpha Lupi: Generates a healing pulse when Barricade is activated.

Becoming aggressive towards enemies is every Titan’s goal, and these bulwarks can hold the lines for their allies in even the hardest of difficulties. With Spirit of the Abeyant, Titans can unleash their barricade to let loose Drengr’s Lash, Strand seekers that will seek out targets to suspend them. This is always useful against Champions in Nightfalls, but paired with Alpha Lupi, it’s a lifesaver.

With Alpha Lupi active, players can generate a healing pulse for themselves and their allies every time they create a barricade. This will aid the team in sticky situations by providing a burst of healing and also suspending the foes that are unrelenting in their assault.

Grants Invisibility With Melee Attacks And Jolts Targets

  • Spirit Of The Assassin: Finishers and powered melee final blows grant invisibility.
  • Spirit Of Contact: Damaging a target with a powered melee causes all nearby enemies to suffer lightning strikes and become jolted.

Every punch from a Titan hits like a truck, so it makes sense to combine two Exotic Perks that are all about melee damage. With Spirit Of The Assassin, each finisher and melee final blow will turn the wielder invisible, allowing them to pass into shadow and protect themselves from the onslaught of enemies that threaten their demise. Alongside this spirit, players will have Spirit Of Contact, granting Jolt to targets and providing additional lightning strikes. This means that players can enter into invisibility, lay down a violent punch, re-enter invisibility, and repeat.

5 Spirit Of The Eternal Warrior & Spirit of Scars

Gain Healing And Bonus Damage When Using Weapons That Match Super’s Element

  • Spirit Of The Eternal Warrior: Gain a damage bonus for weapons matching your Super’s element when your Super ends.
  • Spirit Of Scars: Final blows with weapons that have a damage type matching your Super’s element create a burst of healing around you that grants allies restoration.

When using a Super and weapon that matches in elements, players will be able to combine Spirit of the Eternal Warrior and Spirit of Scars to grant themselves wonderful advantages on the battlefield. With these two combined, each final blow will grant a burst of healing and Restoration, as well as a damage bonus for their weapons once they have finished using their Super. It ensures safety after using a Super, and compliments Solar’s Hammers of Sol very well.

4 Spirit Of Severance & Spirit Of Synthoceps

Improve Melee Damage And Release Explosive Bursts From Melee Kills

Titans love to punch things and make stuff explode, so why not combine Spirit of Severance and Spirit of Synthoceps? With these two, the melee potential in each Titan is going to be grand. Each melee kill or finisher will provide an explosive burst from the target, and with Synthoceps, melee damage is increased when surrounded. The two synergize wonderfully, and Titans will be able to punch everything with rewarding explosives.

3 Spirit Of Inmost Light & Spirit Of The Armamentarium

Improve Ability Regeneration And Use 2 Grenades

Inmost Light is already a powerful Titan Exotic, and combined with another Exotic Perk, players are in for a treat. When using any of a Titan’s abilities, whether that’s Barricade, Grenade, or Melee, the other two abilities will be granted bonus regeneration. Compared with Armamentarium, players will be able to throw 2 powerful grenades, and have them regenerate faster than normal. These two Exotic Perks synergize wonderfully together due to the explosive potential of grenades.

2 Spirit Of The Abeyant & Spirit Of Horn

Suspend And Scorch Targets With Barricade

  • Spirit Of The Abeyant: Improves Drengr’s Lash. Drengr’s Lash projectiles track targets more aggressively and travel further.
  • Spirit Of The Horn: Your Barricade unleashes a blast of Solar energy that scorches targets.

Strand is always a fun thing to use, and with the combination of Spirit of the Abeyant and Spirit of the Horn, players will be able to unleash a suspending tangle that tracks targets whenever they use their Barricade. On top of that, the Barricade will also unleash a blast of scorching Solar energy, which will keep enemies restrained when they get too close, as not only are they suspended in the air, but the Solar damage will potentially finish them off.

1 Spirit Of The Bear & Spirit Of The Star-Eater

Earn More Super Energy And Overcharge Super Abilities

  • Spirit Of The Bear: Move faster while guarding with the Unbreakable shield. Damage blocked with Unbreakable is converted to Super energy.
  • Spirit Of The Star-Eater: While your Super energy is full, picking up an Orb of Power overcharges your Super, granting it bonus damage.

Whilst Titan Supers aren’t exactly known for their incredible DPS in boss fights, there’s something rather special about having Star-Eater work here. Players are going to want to equip the Unbreakable Aspect to make this work in their Prismatic builds, as using that with the Spirit of the Bear will increase their movement speed and convert blocked damage into Super energy. That Super energy is further enhanced into bonus damage through Spirit of the Star-Eater, and when using Twilight Arsenal, players will have a devastating impact of three Void axes to throw into their enemies.
