Marvel Rivals: 8 Heroes Unlikely to be Added
The Marvel Universe is brimming with heroes, but some of their powers might be too much or too little to join the Marvel Rivals roster.
Admittedly, these outfits do vary massively in their overall quality, ranging from basic re-skins to drastic overhauls that completely change the design and aesthetic of the character. From a visual point of view, here is how each of the newest Marvel Rivals skins match up in terms of creativity and overall design.

Blue Tarantula – Peni Parker
A Small Re-Skin That Makes Peni A Little More Vibrant
While Blue Tarantula may not be as flashy or interesting as many of the other skins in the Battle Pass, it can also be received without needing to actually buy the Luxury Battle Pass itself, making it essentially a free unlock. The skin itself reverses some of Peni’s original colors, turning her red and orange armor into a blue and green suit instead, which looks a little more vibrant.
Peni’s own outfit also changes colors to suit the blue color palette of the SP//DR suit, but outside of that, the rest of the design is pretty much the same as normal. Still, it’s a nice addition for those Peni players who want some extra customization options for their character, even if they are simply small alterations such as this one.

Emporium Matron – Scarlet Witch
The Queen Of Chaos Dresses Up For The Occasion
The biggest difference with the Emporium Matron skin is Scarlet Witch’s hair, which turns from red to a pitch black. This creates a captivating contrast when paired with the blood-red and gold dress that the queen of chaos throws on, creating a much more eye-catching design when compared to her original look.

It’s clear that the designers at NetEase focused on dark and fiery colors to feed into Scarlet Witch’s personality and powers when creating this skin, and while it’s not a massive overhaul, it is still jaw-dopping to look at. It’s simply a great alternative for the dangerous Duelist.
8
Blood Moon Knight – Moon Knight
Moon Knight’s usual bright white cape turns to a moody black with his Blood Moon skin, allowing him to blend into the shadows while picking off his enemies from afar. In keeping with the name, Moon Knight’s blades become bright red, with one even showing up on the logo, which can be seen on the back of his cloak.
The Blood Moon Knight skin makes Moon Knight look like a true assassin, and it’s a real marvel to look at thanks to the clever use of color coordination and the small details scattered all around the suit, giving the outfit tons of personality.
7
Savage Sub-Mariner – Namor
Namor’s regular outfit receives a serious upgrade with Savage Sub-Mariner, a callback to his change in outfit during the Sub-Mariner comic series in the late 1960s. While Namor keeps his spiky single shoulder pad, he also gains a jacket that is covered with golden spikes and decorations, along with a large crown that represents his dominance over humankind.
Even Namor’s trident receives a re-skin, with the edge turning from bronze to a shimmering blue, along with the opposite end changing into the same color. It’s a small redesign, but it’s one that succeeds in making Namor a lot more visually interesting from a design perspective.
6
Bounty Hunter – Rocket Raccoon
Rocket’s Coming To Earn His Pay, And He’s Doing It In Style
Rocket receives an entire makeover with his Bounty Hunter skin, with his fur turning into a deep ginger and his eyes becoming bright red. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg in terms of differences, as the furry guardian also receives a bounty hunter attire fitted with a stylish hat, goggles, and a raccoon-sized hunter’s jacket.

Not every character in Marvel Rivals is easy for players to use. Here are the hardest ones to master in the game.
NetEase really went above and beyond when designing this unique skin, and it’s a real joy to look at in-game, serving as an example of how a skin can stand out without needing to go overboard with bright and explosive colors. It also nicely feeds into Rocket’s whole obsession with money and treasure, making for a very creative outfit overall.

King Magnus – Magneto
Magneto’s Intimidating King Magnus Skin Shows Off His Royal Status
Magneto easily upstages his opponents in terms of style when he struts onto the battlefield as King Magnus, the merciless king of Genosha. He puts his royal status on full display with his glistening gold and black royal garments, which are decorated with all kinds of war medals and ornaments. Even the giant ring on Magneto’s back, which is used for his ultimate attack, turns a bright gold, allowing him to dominate his enemies in style.
Magneto also looks a lot younger in this skin, but he still retains his signature scowl. King Magnus is a skin that somehow manages to make Magneto look even more intimidating. Needless to say, NetEase knocked it out of the park with this one.
4
Blood Soul – Adam Warlock
Simple But Stylish, Blood Soul Grants Adam Warlock An Epic Yet Mysterious New Outfit
It’s not often that healer characters in shooter games will receive skins as epic as this one for Adam Warlock. With a cape covering his shoulders and half of his face, Warlock looks like a mysterious but also dangerous sorcerer with this outfit equipped. He also obtains a belt that is packed full of unique tools, books, and weapons, which are small but welcome additions that help to make the fit look even more detailed.
This is one of those skins that could convince a player to start learning the character just because of how cool it looks, and that’s far from a bad thing considering how much fun Adam Warlock’s abiltiies are to use in-game.
3
Blood Berserker – Wolverine
Wolverine Takes On The Appearance Of A Vampire Hunter With Blood Berserker Equipped
NetEase has conjured up some incredibly unique and wacky designs for the original skins in Marvel Rivals, but Blood Berserker is a true stand out, seemingly turning Wolverine into a Van Helsing-esque vampire hunter. There’s so much to gawk at with this skin, whether it’s the fashionable dark hat, long buttoned jacket, or the small silver chain hanging from the mutant’s waist. It’s genuinely hard to look away due to how effortlessly stylish Wolverine looks.
It’s also an interesting change to make his hair long and gray, considering how it is usually seen with the signature spikes, but it works well with the gothic vibe that Wolverine has going on here. As if Wolverine couldn’t get any scarier, this skin is guaranteed to invoke fear into the enemy team any time it shows up.
2
Blood Edge Armor – Iron Man
Iron Man Took Some Medieval Inspiration When Creating This Suit
A truly unique design that merges medieval knight armor with a futuristic mech-suit, this skin feels like something out of an Iron Man fan’s dreams, and suffice to say, it’s a real feast for the eyes. There are tons of small details to look out for with this skin, such as the skulls that appear on both the shoulder and knee pads, feeding into the aesthetic of the design, but it also makes some big changes to Iron Man’s basic suit as well. For example, his helmet becomes completely different.
One particular highlight is the bubbling red energy that can be seen shooting out of Tony’s visor and chestplate, adding even more vibrancy to Iron Man’s latest suit. This season certainly cooked up something special for Iron Man fans, with this being arguably one of the best skins in the entire game thus far.
1
All-Butcher – Loki
Loki’s Fusion With The Primordial Symbiote Results In A Terrifying Yet Badass Design
The mischievous trickster Loki already has a pretty eye-catching design with his bright green armor and sinister smirk, but he becomes almost demonic-like with his All-Butcher form, which sees him fuse with the primordial Symbiote. When assuming this form, Loki acquires a skeletal set of armor with bright green energy emanating from the core.
By far the most noticeable aspect of the All-Butcher skin, though, is the Symbiote, which can be seen curling around Loki’s body and dripping from the tentacles on his shadows. When paired with the long horns stretching out from his head, it results in an amazing skin that is, thankfully, the very first one that can be unlocked in the battle pass.
