Personalities are very important in Dragon Quest 3 Remake, as they determine which attributes increase at what rates every time that character levels up. You can change the personality of a character at any time, with some accessories even doing it, but it’s still very important to have certain personalities on certain vocations.
While many of the base attributes can be helpful on any vocation, you won’t want to accidentally be prioritizing strength on your mage, only to have their damage greatly fall off later in the game. Here is every vocation and what personality is best for them.
