5 Best My Hero Academia Games, Ranked
These My Hero Academia games provide fans with the chance to live out their dreams of being a mighty hero, or even a menacing villain.
However, while All For One’s unique Quirk abilities allow him to obliterate anyone that stands in his way, he’s also got a pretty clever way with words too. All For One is a villain who loves nothing more than letting out long and villainous monologues to emphasize his motives and ambitions, which has ultimately resulted in several of his quotes becoming extremely memorable, thought-provoking, and even iconic.
1
“Start Over As Many Times As It Takes, I Am Here To Provide You With Help”
A Line That Provides Fans With A Glimpse At How Shigaraki Views His Master
While All For One might often be shown to fans as a truly despicable villain, there are a few moments here and there where he demonstrates some level of compassion, which is often shown during his conversations with Shigaraki. While it would be easy to assume that All For One treats his protege like dirt, considering how malicious of a character he is, this line, which is said not long after Bakugo is captured, assures Shigaraki that he will always be by his side to support him, no matter what.
It’s this kind of fatherly talk that encouraged Shigaraki to look up to All For One in the first place, seeing him as the only genuine person in the world who is willing to help him. As a result, it allows fans to see All For One through the eyes of Shigaraki, showing a man who comes across as more forgiving and gentle than many would come to expect.

“Huh! What’s The Matter, All Might? Where’s That Winning Smile Of Yours?”
All Might’s heroic smile is usually something that is celebrated by the other heroes and the civilians that he protects, but All For One instead uses it to attack All Might by referencing his late mentor, Nana Shimura. It just goes to show how much of a manipulative mastermind All For One truly is that he can throw out a single line that could push even the most formidable hero on the planet over the edge.
At the same time, it’s a prime example of how All For One will always try to belittle his opponents with words before obliterating them for good with his Quirks. Of course, no fan can ever forget the visual that goes along with this line where All For One mimics the smile that Nana would always show to All Might, which proves to be the final straw before All Might unleashes his devastating United States of Smash to take down All For One for good.

“Unlike Yours, My Chick Has Left The Nest”
A Subtle Jab At All Might’s Mentoring Skills Compared To All For One
All Might and All For One, despite being drastically different in their personalities, both share the same role of being mentors. However, while All Might often struggles to decide whether he’s being a good teacher to Midoriya or not at several points in the story, All For One makes him question himself even more with this sly quote, which is said when the two face off in Tartarus.

My Hero Academia has no dearth of high-stakes episodes that leave viewers shocked, but these ones in particular deserve to be rewatched many times.
After All Might asks where Shigaraki is hiding, All For One replies that he doesn’t know, before then saying this line, which implies that All Might is holding Midoriya back rather than letting him develop on his own. Of course, this is far from the case, but is another example of how effortlessly All For One can manipulate his opponents with nothing but a few words.

“You’ve Already Worked Hard Enough, Hawks”
A Shocking Line That Came Moments Before Disaster
All For One’s abilities allow him to steal Quirks from other people, which is why he is so feared among many of the heroes. When he finally gets close enough to pull this off, he will often let out a sarcastic or belittling comment to his opponent, as he does with Hawks after assuring him that he’s “already worked hard enough,” implying that his time as a hero has come to an abrupt end.
Upon hearing this line for the first time, no fan expected All For One to actually steal away Hawks’ Fierce Wings Quirk, robbing the charismatic hero of his speed and abilities. It was therefore a line that took many people by surprise while also proving just how much All For One enjoys mocking his opponents before robbing them of everything they have.
5
“I Got The Inspiration From Comic Books. The Big Bad Villain Is Always Feared By People Around The World”
All For One Finally Reveals His True Motives And Intentions
While All For One’s true objective remains a mystery for much of My Hero Academia‘s story, he finally spills the beans when Hawks asks him what he intends to do once he acquires One For All. In a surprising reveal, All For One says that his main inspiration came from comic book villains who would be feared by the entire world. This perfectly explains All For One’s “Demon Lord” persona that he takes on since it confirms that this was seemingly born out of a desire to become like the villains All For One used to look up to as a child.
On the other hand, this is quite a clever line as it harkens back to the core element of the comic books that inspired My Hero in the first place, which is the battle between the heroes and villains. Despite how complex and in-depth a lot of the villains’ motives can be in this series, All For One makes it clear that he simply wanted to live out his own fantasy of becoming ruler of the world as the Demon Lord.
6
“Show The World How Pitiful You Really Are, Symbol Of Peace”
All For One Successfully Breaks All Might’s Heroic Persona
There aren’t many villains who can get under All Might’s skin quite as easily as All For One. While these two have a very long history together, the first time they come face to face in the series is almost directly after All Might raids the villains’ hideout, resulting in an epic confrontation where All For One pushes All Might to his absolute limit.

Although these abilities in My Hero Academia are not quirk based they are still formidable in the hero-themed world
With news cameras covering the entire fight and the whole world watching on in awe, All Might exposes his normal form for the very first time, leading All For One to ridicule his secret with this damning quote. On the one hand, it exposes All Might’s tagline as the “symbol of peace” by proving to the people how this can no longer apply to the old and battered Pro-Hero, but this line also feeds into All For One’s hatred for society, and how obsessed he is with trying to tear it down.
7
“I’m Preparing For Him To Become The Next Me, My Successor”
This Creepy Quote Emphasizes The Complex Relationship Between All Might And Shigaraki
Just like how All Might acted as the mentor to Midoriya, All For One had his own protege that he hoped to one day become the next version of himself, that being Tomura Shigaraki. This line, said by All For One very early on in the series, was one of the first times the villain openly revealed he had been molding Shigaraki in his devious image for the sake of continuing his legacy through a new villain.
All For One’s immensely powerful Quirks already make him a terrifying character within the series, but learning that he had been pushing Shigaraki to become just as evil and sadistic managed to make him seem even more horrific as an antagonist, while also granting a glimpse into the complex relationship the two share.

“I Am No Longer Interested In That Piece Of Trash Known As All Might. I Am Coming For You Next”
Ever The Opportunist, All For One Lines Up Midoriya As His Next Target
All For One is an opportunist. Any time he spots a “hero” who he thinks can be converted into a villain, he will always jump at the chance to try and convince them to join his side, as he tries to do in the creepiest way possible with Midoriya. After going rogue and leaving his friends behind for a brief period, Midoriya eventually encounters All For One, who speaks to him through a screen, claiming that he is no longer interested in All Might and has instead turned his attention toward the rebellious Midoriya.
The visual that accompanies this line, which shows All For One pointing at Midoriya through the screen with a sinister smile on his face, makes this line all the more eerie. It was also a quote that had an impact on Midoriya, who began worrying about what he had gotten himself into after becoming a “vigilante.”
