All Metal Flower Locations in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Metal Flowers are one of the more odd collectibles you can find in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, with the explanation for their existence only coming at the very end of the game. There are quite a few, and each one has a poem of some kind attached to it, making it seem like someone is placing them where they are intentionally.
If you know where to look, you can spot them because they’re all also surrounded by a triangle of pinkish flowers. In total, you need to find 30, and they come in sets of three. While the maps you buy from merchants do indicate where you can locate them, some are actually hidden – so you’re going to need to do some searching.
There are some minor story spoilers in this guide!

Table of Contents
Hunting grounds trials are gauntlet-type activities in Horizon Zero Dawn that players can participate in to earn rewards depending on their time.
Most of the Metal Flowers in the first set in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered can be found while you’re exploring the Nora Lands at the beginning of the game. In total, you need to find 10.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (A) Location
You can find this Metal Flower in the bunker you explored as a child in the prologue. When you take control of Aloy as an adult, go back to the bunker and walk through it until you reach the first area where you found a holographic lock (when she was a child). Nearby, there’s a doorway that’s obscured by a stalagmite. Destroy it with your spear, and you’ll see the flower inside.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (B) Location
The second flower can be found alongside the mountain behind Aloy and Rost’s house. To get there, travel to the fast travel point near the house. Then look for a gateway right next to the house and go through it. Follow the path, and you’ll see a series of ziplines and ropes you can walk on to your right – along the mountain face. Follow these ropes and ziplines, and you’ll eventually reach the flower.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (C) Location
You can find this flower just outside the gates to the Embrace (outside of it). It’s beside a small destroyed house.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (D) Location
This flower is to the East of the Devil’s Thirst Ruins. You’ll need to travel a bit away from the ruins, and you’ll find it nestled in the hills.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (E) Location
While you’re doing the Revenge of the Nora questline, you can look for this flower among the ruins of Devil’s Grief.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (F) Location
When you find the bunker with the Shield Weaver armor, you’ll see this flower on the left side of the bunker as you enter it. It’ll be while you’re swimming in the water – but it’s pretty easy to miss.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (G) Location
This flower is also found in the Devil’s Grief ruins. Thankfully, it’s one of the easier ones to find, because it’s one of the few that is located directly underneath the marker on the map.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (H) Location
You can get this flower either before you head to Meridian, or when you get and complete The Grave Hoard main quest. It’s quite far north on the map, and there are a few dangerous machines around, but the flower itself is directly on the pathway.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (I) Location
Just South of a small settlement called Hunter’s Gathering, and nestled among some trees, you can find this flower. There are a lot of machines in this area, though, so just watch out for random attacks.
Metal Flower Mark 1 (J) Location
The last flower in Set 1 can be found along the path to Daytower, which you’ll find when you first make your way to Meridian. It’s on the right side when you’re traveling along the path, nestled among some rocks alongside the mountain.
The second set of Metal Flowers is spread across the map where Meridian is. Some of them can be hard to spot, but just remember that you can use your Focus to locate them if you ever get lost. There are a total of 10 flowers in Set 2.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (A) Location
You can find this flower North of the Dawn’s Sentinel Gate, and it’s guarded by a herd of Scrappers.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (B) Location
This flower is located North-East of Daytower, right next to a large metal ruin and guarded by a swarm of Snapmaws. If you see the river, it’s on a small island right in the middle.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (C) Location
If you follow the path North out of Lone Light, you’ll see this flower when the path branches left.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (D) Location
To get to this flower, you need to climb the cliffs just North of Sunfall. There is a path on the side of the cliff you can follow that will take you right to it, but be wary of the Glinthawks that are guarding it.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (E) Location
This flower is near the Thunderjaw site West of Freeheap. It’s right in the middle of the area, so you’re either going to have to sneak past the two monster machines to get it, or fight them before you do.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (F) Location
You can find this flower South of Pitchcliff and near the corrupted zone that has two Rockbreakers. It’s sitting at the top of an outcrop.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (G) Location
This flower is in the farnorthern area of the map. To get to it, you can follow the path you would take to get to Pitchcliff, but go further up. It’s on a small outcrop to the right of the path, and there’s a Stormbird circling it.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (H) Location
You can find this flower near Sunfall, to the West of where the Banuk Figure is located. It may be a challenge to find your way there, but if you follow the cliffs toward it you’ll find it in the canyon.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (I) Location
While you’re completing The Field of the Fallen, look for this flower at the top of the mesa you explore with Erend. It’s on the South side, and there’s a Glinthawk site nearby.
Metal Flower Mark 2 (J) Location
At the very tip of the land on the West side of the map lies this flower. It’s near a large body of water which is also inhabited by quite a few Snapmaws, but if you approach from the land’s side, you can slip past them if you wish.
The last set of Metal Flowers can also be found around Meridian, with most of them being in the jungle area of the map. Like the other sets, there are a total of 10 flowers to find.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (A) Location
South-East of Meridian, this flower is located along the path where you can find a Sawtooth site. It’s right on the path, so just follow the map marker for the flower.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (B) Location
You can find this flower near the area where you save Olin’s family in Collateral. It’s right in the middle of a Glinthawk site here, so you may need to sneak past them or fight them to get it.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (C) Location
If you’re going by set, you may need to backtrack a bit to find this flower. When you’re traveling to Daytower from Hunter’s Gathering, instead of following the path straight, take a right (when it forks) to go up the mountain instead. It’s located on a small hill above a Sawtooth site on this mountain.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (D) Location
Cauldron XI is found in the jungle, and it’s also the one that the Eclipse has taken over when you get there. This flower can be found near this Cauldron, right next to one of its entryways and near a Bellowback site.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (E) Location
You can find this flower on a mesa South of Meridian. Follow the path, and you’ll find a Merchant along the way as well.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (F) Location
This flower is located near the Tallneck in the jungle, quite far South of Meridian. It’s right next to one of the campfires you find here.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (G) Location
If you follow the path right to the map marker that shows where this flower is located, you’ll find it in the field on the right.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (H) Location
The second Tallneck you find in the game is also where you can find this flower. It can be tough to get to it if you’re approaching from Daytower, but if you override the Tallneck and rappel down, you’ll basically be right next to the flower on the other side of the water.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (I) Location
While you’re completing the Honor the Fallen quest, you’ll be asked to help a Banuk get rid of some Glinthawks. This metal flower is located on top of the mesa you need to clear out for him.
Metal Flower Mark 3 (J) Location
Outside of Lone Light, you can spot a bridge, and the flower is nestled just underneath it.
With that, you’ll have collected all the Metal Flowers in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. There’s a special merchant in Meridian that will trade each set for a unique reward, so make sure you find him in the city when you can.
