Wearing Accessories in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom can make gameplay much easier, so it’s recommended you take the time to find them. There are a total of 28 Accessories in Echoes of Wisdom, and it should be noted that Accessories are not the same as Outfits. You’ll only be able to equip 1 at the start of the game, and 5 once you’ve unlocked the ability to do so. As such, you should learn what each Accessory does and which ones are worth equipping.

Where to Find Every Accessory in Echoes of Wisdom

Which Accessories Should You Wear?

You can obtain Accessories from certain side quests, stores, and looting treasure chests. Some Accessories have different versions, such as the Mastery Scrolls you obtain from the Slumber Dojo. These have stronger effects than the original Accessory, but they’re usually obtainable only through longer side quests or challenging minigames.

Map Locations for Accessories

In the images below, you’ll find the cave locations for Accessories you can’t get from quests/stores:

You should always have the Frog Ring and Damage Reduced(+) Accessories equipped. Frog Ring will allow you to jump higher, eliminating the over-reliance on Table Echoes or Bed Echoes. Damage Reduced is self-explanatory, and it’s ideal for late-game monsters. Energy Glove/Energy Belt as well as First/Second/Final Mastery are also worth wearing if you like using Swordfighter Mode.

How to Equip More Accessories in Echoes of Wisdom

Where is the Great Fairy

Once you start collecting Accessories, you’ll want to be able to equip more than one. You can do this by visiting the Great Fairy in Lake Hylia. Speak to her and choose the option “Make me more stylish!” to unlock another Accessory slot. Unfortunately, this won’t come for free. True to Zelda‘s Great Fairy behavior, she’ll charge you for each expansion, increasing the price each time. If you have the Rupees to spare, however, it’s worth the investment.

  • 2 Accessory Slots (100 Rupees)
  • 3 Accessory Slots (300 Rupees)
  • 4 Accessory Slots (500 Rupees)
  • 5 Accessory Slots (1000 Rupees)

If you’re early in your Echoes of Wisdom playthrough, chances are you won’t have enough to increase Accessory Slots in one sitting. You can farm Rupees by looting all the chests in dungeons or exploring caves around Hyrule. There are also plenty of side quests that give 50 and 20 Rupees as a reward.

The Crow Echo is also good for farming Rupees, as anything they hit will cause the enemy to drop a handful of Rupees. If you’ve started Dampe’s Automation side quests, then you can get the Goldfinch Automation.
