‘The Daily Show’ breaks down the cringiest VP debate moments
No, it wasn’t as big a deal as the presidential debate, but last night’s VP debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz still came with its fair share of memorable and cringy moments.
In the live monologue above, Daily Show host Michael Kosta breaks them all down — from the onscreen QR code linking to a fact check (“Yes, a QR code! Perfect journalism! When a candidate tells a lie, why correct it for the 50 million people watching live, just have a link for the 12 nerds who bother scanning it!”) to Vance trying to link running mate Donald Trump’s abortion stance to “diversity” (“Yeah, OK, you see America? Republicans do support diversity. Some states believe women should have rights, and some don’t.”).
For more on the VP debate, you can watch Stephen Colbert’s live reaction.
