John Oliver brutally declares Republican candidates the ‘weird’ ones
Since JD Vance was named as Donald Trump’s VP running mate and Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden as Democratic presidential nominee, there’s been a lot of talk about the Republican candidates being “weird”.
John Oliver has already touched on this with his comments on Vance’s particular laugh, but during Sunday’s edition of Last Week Tonight the late night show host dug a little deeper, explaining that the party’s “weird” problem isn’t helped by some candidates further down the ballot including conspiracy theorist Royce White, seemingly witchcraft-obsessed Hung Cao, and “Ned Flanders without the raw sexual charisma” Eric Hovde,
