‘Daily Show’ mocks Trump’s weird 40-minute dance during town hall
Donald Trump awkwardly dancing during his rallies is nothing new, but it’s not often that the dancing lasts for a full 40 minutes.
“I literally have no idea what just happened,” says Daily Show host Desi Lydic in the clip above, after playing back footage from a town hall in in Oaks, Pennsylvania on Monday. “I don’t know if he’s on edibles, or if I’m on edibles.”
Trump was on stage with South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who remained onstage as the former president made song request after song request and stopped answering questions altogether.
“I gotta say, this is the most I’ve ever related to her,” says Lydic. “‘Cuz we have all been in a situation where a guy mansplains his Spotify playlist to you.”
