An Oasis reunion is definitely, maybe happening.

Liam and Noel Gallagher seemed to confirm that the group is getting back together after the brothers posted a clip of the date, Aug. 27, 2024, along with the time, 8 a.m., on their respective X/Twitter accounts on Sunday. The official Oasis website also has “27.08.24” written on its main page.

After reports circulated over the weekend about a potential Oasis reunion, Liam Gallagher began fueling the speculation in a series of social media posts.

Oasis formally disbanded in 2009 after an argument between the siblings prompted Noel Gallagher to leave the rock group.

In April of this year, Oasis received its first nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which, if inducted, could have led to a reunion between the Gallagher brothers. However, when reacting to the nomination, Liam Gallagher quickly shut down that possibility.

“Fuck the Rock n Roll hall of fame its full of BUMBACLARTS,” Liam Gallagher wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time. In another post, he said of his brother: “The little fella loves hanging out with celebrities so he’d prob go; as for me I’m washing my hair and having a pedicure and a manicure.”
