Roblox has a collection of 20 million games on their platform, meaning endless possibilities for fun. For Sanrio fans, there is the My Hello Kitty Cafe game, which allows players to own their very own cafe. Players can have characters from the famous franchise work inside the their cafe, and can even unlock exclusive seasonal items to decorate their space.
My Hello Kitty Cafe in Roblox has monthly updates that often contain celebrations for the different Hello Kitty friends’ birthdays and other events. Last month it was Cinnamon Roll, now this month it is My Melody. In honor of My Melody’s birthday, players will be able to get a free UGC. This guide will explain how to get the new My Melody backpack in My Hello Kitty Cafe.

How To Get the Free My Melody Backpack In My Hello Kitty Cafe
With the most recent update, players are able to redeem a free My Melody backpack UGC in the game. This means that even though the item was redeemed within a game, it will be available outside My Hello Kitty Cafe as well, so the player can use it in any Roblox game.
While this event is available, players will have to complete four different tasks to redeem the backpack. The event will end once the number of available backpacks is maxed out. Those that miss out will still be able to purchase the backpack, but it will cost them 499 Robux instead of getting it for free. Below is a list of all the tasks players will need to complete to get this backpack.
- Own A Purchased Theme In Your Town. Players will need a brand new My Melody theme for their cafe, which can be located right outside their cafe to the right. Stand on the “Cafe Theme” button, where you can purchase it for a total of 2,500 diamonds.
- Unlock Staff My Melody. Head over to your Gacha Tix machine outside of your cafe to purchase more employees. What makes this task hard is that players will not know what employees they will get with each Gacha Tix they use. Furthermore, My Melody is a Purple rarity, which means there is only a 1% chance of getting her.
- Serve 6000 customers at the Coffee House. This one is not as difficult as the others, but it will be time-consuming above all else. This just involves serving customers within the cafe. You can boost this number are by doing auto-work, standing outside the cafe and seating customers, or allowing the game to run in the background.
- Complete My Melody Build 005 Blueprint. This will be another really hard one for players who might not have a ton of diamonds. This blueprint will be available in the edit cafe tab, where players can select different themes for their cafe. The one you’ll need for the event will be highlighted soon. Go through the tycoon mode where you step on the circles, and pay the price required to build out the theme in your My Hello Kitty cafe.
These tasks can be difficult to do at first, some can be time-consuming. But it is doable, and does allow the player to get the Plush My Melody Backpack for free and keep it outside the game in all of Roblox.
