Helldivers 2: Best Super Credits Farming Strategy
Super Credits (SC) are a premium currency in Helldivers 2, used to unlock Premium Warbonds and purchase rotating items from the Superstore. While SC typically have to be purchased with real-world money, players willing to invest time in grinding can occasionally find them for free during missions.
While not free to play, Helldivers 2 is pretty generous in giving away free Super Credits. You can rack up around 1,500–2,000 SC in a couple of hours with the perfect farming run, especially now that the Illuminate are here. Their city maps have unintentionally increased the rate of SC loot piles.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to efficiently farm Super Credits and maximize your earnings in the shortest amount of time. Start grinding now to have enough SC when the Killzone 2 crossover items come back into the Superstore.

The Best Way to Farm Super Credits in Helldivers 2
Every map has a chance to spawn a pile of Super Credits at one of its Points of Interest (POI) in Helldivers 2. This is not exclusive to any difficulty level. Hence, the most efficient way to farm Super Credits is to grind low-difficulty missions in Helldivers 2. You will face fewer enemies on a smaller map, allowing you to easily (and quickly) find and loot all the POIs before extracting and doing it all over again.
This SC farming strategy can net thousands of free Super Credits depending on how many hours you are willing to spend grinding. However, there are ways to make that grind easier. While the SC spawn chance remains the same, you can cut down the time it takes to clear each map. That includes the perfect planet and biome, the right difficulty and mission type, an optimized loadout and build, knowing where to deploy, etc.
There was a known exploit that allowed you to find a loot pile with Super Credits, disconnect from the internet or Alt+F4, and rejoin the game to find SC in the same spot repeatedly. This popular Super Credits farm strategy was patched several months ago in Helldivers 2. Now, you will find SC in the same spot after rejoining, but they will not be added to your account.
The Best Biomes and Planets for SC Farming
Biome |
Archetypes |
---|---|
Sandy |
|
Moor |
|
Urban |
The biomes mentioned above are the easiest to traverse and navigate, allowing you to complete each map in under 2 minutes. There are no swamps or water bodies to run around, or dense foliage or snow to slow you down. The environmental conditions are also generally clear, offering a clear line of sight to spot POIs in the distance. All other biomes have the worst imaginable terrain for farming because they take too much time to clear.
Since planet names are always rotating, your goal should be to confirm their biomes. Hover your cursor over a planet to pop up their description. Match the banner to the image above and jump in.
The new Illuminate urban cities are the best biomes for farming Super Credits in Helldivers 2. They have the highest number of closely clustered POIs within a flat city layout and are nearly free of enemies. Compared to the other two factions, the Illuminate planets have a higher chance of spawning SC piles due to their higher POI density.

Not every grenade in Helldivers 2 is used to blow up enemies. Some provide utility and other tactical advantages. Here’s how they rank up in our list.
The Best Difficulty and Maps for Super Credits Farm
Trivial (level 1) is the best difficulty to farm Super Credits in Helldivers 2. Focus on the new urban maps, which typically feature around a dozen POIs clumped on the outskirts with additional POIs inside the city. While increasing the difficulty to Easy (level 2) adds 3–5 more POIs, the larger map size makes farming less efficient overall. This is because additional enemy spawn locations eat up POIs that could potentially spawn loot.
When choosing maps, look for wide open spaces without any water or mountains, as shown in the image above. Such environmental obstacles eat up space that could potentially spawn more POIs. They also make it hard to traverse.
It is always better to farm Super Credits with a friend in co-op due to the numerous bunkers and vaults, especially in the city maps, that require two players to open. While you can farm solo in Helldivers 2, having another player on the team just improves your chances of finding SC piles. Additionally, radar dishes reveal all POIs on the map, so be sure to activate them when you find one. If you are playing solo, you can align the radar dish by listening to the beeping sound.

Mobility is the most important thing to consider when creating a farming build in Helldivers 2. Whether you are farming Samples or Super Credits, equip a light armor with the Jump Pack to speed up runs. Since you will be completing dozens of maps every day, maximizing mobility ensures you do not have to spend more than 2–3 minutes per map.
You can also consider taking the new FRV (Fast Recon Vehicle) in Helldivers 2. It is a fast transportation jeep for your entire squad. However, its handling is a bit messy, especially on rough terrain. The Jump Pack is always a better option over the FRV to enhance your mobility, at least until the car handling is improved.
The Best Deployment Locations to Speed Up Runs
When doing solo farming runs in Helldivers 2, deploy anywhere at the edge of the map and circle your way to the extraction site. This reduces the chance of backtracking. In most cases, you will clear all POIs and complete the primary objective before reaching the extraction site.
However, as mentioned earlier, co-op farming runs are better because you need two players to open the loot bunkers. Although spreading out across the four corners of the map may seem ideal, at least two players need to stay together to avoid delays at bunkers. Hence, players should consider covering at least half of the map size during deployment and work their work straight toward the extraction site. This saves time and improves the efficiency of your Super Credits farm in Helldivers 2.
