It goes for anything between $185.00 and $500.00 depending on its condition and whether or not it’s been graded. Much like most of the other cards on this list, while the value does fluctuate, overall the price gradually goes up over time.

Rayquaza V #76

Set: Blue Sky Stream (Japanese Version)

Rayquaza V #76

This unique-looking card was available in Blue Sky Stream packs. This set was released in 2021, and it contains plenty of highly sought-after cards. While an English version is available, for the most part, collectors seek the Japanese variant of this card. Avid collectors are willing to pay as much as $260.00 to get their hands on a highly graded version of Rayquaza V #76. Since the set isn’t that old, it’s safe to assume that the value will only increase as time goes on.

10

Rayquaza GX #177

Set: Celestial Storm

Rayquaza GX

Rayquaza GX is likely one of the most powerful and popular GX cards of all time. Decks featuring the card absolutely dominated the World Championships in 2018, and it still is finding use today in decks that placed highly in the Pokemon Online Global Championships. With many easy ways to put a ton of energy onto the card to unleash devastating attacks and even an ability to draw a massive amount of cards in a tight pinch, Rayquaza GX will likely see use in standard play until it’s no longer legal. This card goes for between $70.00 and $340.00 at the time of writing.

9

Rayquaza EX #123

Set: Dragons Exalted

Rayquaza EX

It may not be the strongest EX card in the Pokemon TCG, but this Rayquaza had its place in competitive decks back in the day. It was a part of Jon Bristow’s deck at the 2013 World Championships and managed to get him into the top eight. Combining Keldeo-GX, Float Stone, and Eelektrik, Bristow was able to retreat Rayquaza each turn, attach a bunch of energy, and then send it back out onto the battlefield to deal damage again.

As for its value, it all depends on the condition. For a quick sale, collectors can expect to receive about $77.00 for a copy of this card. However, if it’s in pristine condition, then the value can reach well over $2,000.00.

8

Rayquaza EX #97

Set: Pokemon Dragon

Rayquaza ex smol

Rayquaza has been printed as a lightning type and as a fire type in the past and this card combines the two of them to create a Pokemon capable of launching devastating one-hit knockouts for any players that are able to attach energy to it quickly. This would eventually become a common theme among Rayquaza cards, placing energy to discard it in order to launch serious attacks.

Pokemon: The Best Changes The TCG Has Made Since Its Debut

The Pokemon TCG has changed a lot over the years. These are generally thought of as the bes5t changes the game has undergone.

The Pokemon also had multiple resistances and a strange weakness in normal types, something extremely unusual in the Pokemon TCG. As for its value, it can go for between $92.00 and $1,740.00 depending on its grading.

7

Rayquaza Ex #97

Set: Dragon Frontiers

Rayquaza ex Delta

Delta cards allowed for Pokemon to be printed with unique types in the TCG, making this Rayquaza an electric type instead of a dragon type. While so many attacks on other Rayquaza cards are powered by lightning energy, this allowed it to be used in lightning decks with ease. Its ability also was unique as it allowed players who were behind in the game to potentially make a comeback.

While the value of this Rayquaza card has bounced around over the years, it seems to have leveled off a bit. Collectors can expect to pay around $86.00 for an ungraded copy of this card.

6

Rayquaza Ex #102

Set: Deoxys

Rayquaza ex Ability

If players were careful not to let this Rayquaza ex get knocked out, they could theoretically keep stacking up energy, playing another Rayquaza ex to take the energy away, then switch it out indefinitely. Since this card had a rare attack for the Pokemon that didn’t require energy to be discarded, this could result in devastating knockouts. Add in the fact that it is gorgeously sparkly and any collector would be happy to have it! Collectors with a PSA 10 copy of this card can expect to get upwards of $2,200.00 should they choose to sell.

5

Rayquaza VMAX

Set: Evolving Skies

Rayquaza VMAX

VMAX cards were the newest mechanic in the Pokemon TCG after Sword & Shield was released and Rayquaza got its own VMAX with amazing art by Anesaki Dynamic. While all versions of the card are a bit valuable, the version with the special art is the one collectors covet. This is because it is far rarer and harder to pull from packs, especially with issues that scalpers have caused in recent times.

This card has a rather high ungraded value when compared to most of the other Rayquaza cards on this list. Ungraded, it can sell for around $465.00.

4

Rayquaza #SL10

Set: Call of Legends

Rayquaza Call of Legends

Everyone wants to catch a shiny Pokemon if they can, so it’s no surprise this extends into the Pokemon TCG as well. This card features the iconic black design of shiny Rayquaza which trainers and fans have come to love over the years.

For anyone fortunate to have a copy of this card in pristine condition, they can expect to receive up to a whopping $4,600.00 if they sell it.

Set: Skytree Town Pokemon Center Promo

Rayquaza Sky Tree
  • Estimated Value: Recent Sales – $200.00

When the Skytree Town Pokemon Center opened up in Tokyo, fans of all kinds had the opportunity to get this card with its special logo in the corner. Anyone who purchased five or more booster packs at any Pokemon Center at the time was given the card alongside their purchase while supplies lasted. As the event happened back in 2016 and only for a limited time, there are quite a limited number of these cards in circulation, increasing their value significantly. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find an accurate price. However, some recent sales on some very popular sites saw copies of this card go for a few hundred dollars.

2

Rayquaza #128

Dragons Exalted

Rayquaza Dragon

While there was also a version of this card without the shiny version of Rayquaza, it’s the one with the black dragon that demands serious cash from collectors today. While the card never showed up much competitively, it did also make an appearance in Jon Bristow’s World Championship deck in 2013 as well. It’s possible the card may have had more competitive viability but no one else ever seriously experimented with it.

This card is quite costly, even ungraded. Collectors can expect to pay upwards of $230.00 For an ungraded copy of this Rayquaza card.

1

Rayquaza Gold Star #107

Set: Deoxys

Rayquaza Star

Rayquaza★ star has some of the most gorgeous artwork in the entire TCG and features the legendary Pokemon in its shiny form to boot. With it also being holographic, it’s become a must-have for collectors who love the Pokemon and want something to show off.

Despite only one star Pokemon being allowed in any deck at all, they have still become incredibly rare over the years, selling for astronomical amounts at auction. This card is the top of the line when it comes to valuable Rayquaza cards. Recently, a PSA 10 copy of this card went for over $32,000.00.
