Hyper Light Breaker: How to Bring Teammates Back to Life
Hyper Light Breaker can be a punishing game to get into. As you explore the Overgrowth, you’ll encounter multiple threats from all directions. While going in with your friends in co-op can certainly make things easier, one wrong move can quickly send you back to the Cursed Outpost forcing you to restart your run.
While solo players will be stuck with a single life, and one death will send them back to the start of the run, those playing the game with friends will have a second shot at life if their ally revives them. Here’s all you need to know about how to revive your friends in Hyper Light Breaker to continue on your journey through the Overgrowth.

How to Bring Teammates Back to Life in Hyper Light Breaker
Reviving your teammates in Hyper Light Breaker isn’t all too complicated. There are two ways to revive them, and the way you choose depends on where you are in the Overgrowth. The first and simplest way to revive them is to use one of the many Shrines you’ll discover as you explore the map.
While these Shrines serve as a spawn point for your next run in the same Rez cycle, players can use them to purchase and refill their Medkits should they run out. And if a teammate in your party happens to be dead when you’re using the Shrine, you’ll get an option to revive them in exchange for Bright Bloods.
Thankfully, Bright Blood is a pretty easy-to-get resource when you’re exploring, and since you only need 100 Bright Blood for the first revival, it won’t put a huge dent in your harvest. However, a subsequent revival in the Shrine will also increase the revival cost.
The second way to revive your teammates in Hyper Light Breaker is to use Medkits. Now, Medkit is a precious resource in the game and for the early game, you’ll only have access to one Medkit. So if your teammate dies when you’re still in the Overgrowth, it’s best to wait until you make it to a Shrine.
However, if you’re in the middle of a Crown Boss battle, your only option to revive your teammate is to use Medkit. Since the arena is locked for the duration of the battle, you’ll be unable to reach a Shrine until you kill the boss. So, if you’ve got a spare Medkit, run over to your friend on the battlefield and hold down the prompted button to revive them.
Hyper Light Breaker can be quite punishing if you run out of Medkits, especially in the Crown Boss arena. Not only can it be used to top off your own health, but you can also use it to save your allies and bring them back to fight alongside you. So make sure you always have one ready before you head into the arena.
