All Storybook Vale Gem Locations In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Just like the gems in Dreamlight Valley and Eternity Isle, Storybook Vale gems come in regular and shiny versions. Shiny gems sell for more Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall, but they are harder to find. To mine gems, you’ll need your trusty pickaxe. And don’t worry if a mining spot doesn’t show gems at first because breaking it might still surprise you with one.

What Are Gems Used For In DDV?
Gems have multiple uses in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Fans can sell them for a good amount of Star Coins or use them to craft various items. For example, the Basic Faerie Lure Trap requires Magma as part of its recipe.
In addition to that, gems also play a role in completing some quests. For example, Magma is needed to craft the Watering Can Potion and the Corinthian Marble DJ Table during the ‘A Moth to a Flame’ and ‘Fine, I’ll Do It Myself’ quests.
