Marvel Rivals: Best Counters To Invisible Woman
Summary
Table of Contents
- Groot can block Invisible Woman’s Force Physics and reveal her with Spore Bombs.
- Punisher can destroy Invisible Woman’s shields and reveal her with his ultimate.
- Winter Soldier can pull Invisible Woman towards his team and catch her with his AOE attack.
The Invisible Woman is already proving to be one of the trickiest Strategists in Marvel Rivals to deal with. Considering this Fantastic Four member is able to turn invisible automatically when not engaged in combat, and can also regenerate her health in the process, removing her from the fight can be a real pain — that is, unless a team has a few counter picks to help take her down.

Those looking to stay alive in Marvel Rivals should give these characters a try, as they come with some of the largest health pools in the game.
Strategists act as the backbone of an entire team and are the ones responsible for keeping the Duelists and Vanguards alive during firefights, which is why prioritizing them is so important. When it comes to the Invisible Woman specifically, though, these are the Marvel Rivals heroes and villains who possess abilities that allow them to counteract her unique powers so that she doesn’t end up becoming too much of a problem for an entire match.

Groot
Groot Can Use His Walls To Counter Invisible Woman’s Push And Pull
- Groot’s Walls protect allies against Force Physics
- Groot’s Spore Bombs can reveal Invisible Woman’s position
Force Physics is an ability that allows Invisible Woman to either push or pull an enemy, depending on whether she wants to throw them off the side of the map or draw them in for the rest of the team to take aim at. Considering the range of this attack, along with the generous cooldown, it can effectively disorganize an entire team used in the right hands, but one character who can prevent this is Groot.
Groot’s Thornlash and Ironwood walls will immediately block Invisible Woman’s Force Physics, along with her regular projectiles, which can be used for both healing and dealing damage. Additionally, Groot can also use his bouncing cluster Spore Bombs to catch Invisible Woman red-handed whenever she decides to conceal her identity.

The Punisher
With A Lethal Arsenal Of Heavy Weaponry At The Ready, Punisher Can Obliterate Any Of Invisible Woman’s Shields
- Punisher can melt Guardian Shields with his Culling Turret
- Punisher’s ultimate can melt Invisible Woman’s health
If one of Invisible Woman’s allies starts to get a little low on health and is being targeted by multiple enemies at once, she can deploy her Guardian Shield, which will not only protect them, but also heal them at the same time. This is essentially a get out of jail free card that can be a real annoyance to deal with, though not for the Punisher, who can obliterate these 300 HP blockades with his Culling Turret.

While some of the best heroes in Marvel Rivals can change the structure of the game with their ultimate, these heroes are a tad underwhelming.
If Punisher gets close enough, he can even simply use his boomstick to tear down the shields in mere seconds, and the same goes for when he unleashes his Final Judgement ultimate attack. Speaking of his ultimate, the Punisher can easily reveal Invisible Woman’s position when using it by spraying his bullets around an objective, just in case she tries to avoid any damage by turning invisible.

Winter Soldier
Winter Soldier Is Able To Pull Invisible Woman Toward His Team, Setting Up An Easy Kill
- Winter Soldier can pull Invisible Woman from the backline with Bionic Hook
- Winter Soldier’s AOE oltimate attack can catch Invisible Woman if she tries to flee
Winter Soldier’s Bionic Hook allows Bucky to pull in any unlucky enemy who gets caught by it. While it can be used on anyone, it is most effective when it manages to reach an enemy healer, putting them in an uncomfortable position where Bucky’s allies can land a few free shots without having to get past the Vanguards and Duelists first.
Sure, Winter Soldier could let his comrades do the rest of the work, but he is also capable of finishing off Invisible Woman himself with his Trooper’s Fist ability and his lethal revolver — especially when aimed at the head. Considering the huge AOE range of his ultimate, this can also be handy for revealing Invisible Woman’s location whenever she tries to sneak away, while also being useful for targeting the enemy team when she uses her own ultimate attack to try and hide them from plain view.

Mister Fantastic
Sue Storm’s Own Husband Is An Effective Counter With His Far-Reaching Attacks And Devastating Ultimate
- Mister Fantastic’s mid-range basic attacks can chip away Invisible Woman’s health
- Mister Fantastic’s Reflexive Rubber negates the confidence granted by her Guardian Shield
Ironically enough, Invisible Woman’s very own husband, Mister Fantastic, is a pretty effective counter pick, considering his mid-range attacks and unique set of abilities. Because Mister Fantastic’s basic attacks possess such good range, and that he is still a melee-based character, it means he can get into the thick of the action and chip away at Invisible Woman’s health bar little by little as he throws his arms past the enemy team’s Vanguards and Duelists.
When Invisible Woman uses her Guardian Shield ability on one of her allies, it will usually convince them to throw out as much damage as possible, but Mister Fantastic can also counter this with his Reflexive Rubber form to negate any projectiles that come toward his allies. His ultimate is also one that can cause Invisible Woman to run away from the team, since it can easily kill her if Fantastic manages to land a few bounces.

Squirrel Girl
Squirrel Girl’s Bouncing Projectiles Make It Hard For Invisible Woman To Hide For Very Long
- Squirrel Girl’s bouncing projectiles can deal Ddamage to Invisible Woman without her even realizing
- Squirrel Girl’s Tail Bounce allows her to take pot shots at the enemy’s backline
Simply put, Squirrel Girl’s kit and abilities make her an absolute nightmare for Invisible Woman, primarily because the former can effortlessly expose Invisible Woman’s whereabouts with her projectiles. Not only do Squirrel Girl’s Burst Acorns have a small AOE effect, but they also bounce off walls, meaning that spreading them out across an area will reveal Invisible Woman to the entire team — while also dealing some damage in the process.

She also has her Tail Bounce, letting Squirrel Girl shoot up into the sky — giving her a full view of the enemy’s backline — allowing her to take take pot shots from above. Squirrel Girl can also use her ultimate attack to make life harder for Invisible Woman, since it will cause the opposing team to scatter, dividing the healer’s attention as a result.

Loki
Loki’s Clone Can Use His Clones To Force Invisible Woman To Reveal Herself
- Loki’s Clones can trick Invisible Woman into revealing her location
- Loki’s Backstab Ability can deal significant damage from behind
Loki’s main gimmick is his Doppelgangers, of which he can spawn three of at any given time. Because Loki is able to assume control of any clone that he creates, it means opponents will often try to take all of them down, since there’s no telling which is the real god of mischief, and which are fakes. This essentially forces Invisible Woman to take action, preventing her from simply turning invisible, avoiding confrontation entirely.
Skilled Loki players will also be able to set up clones behind the enemy team so that they can then teleport and use his Backstab ability to kill Invisible Woman without her even noticing. Needless to say, Loki can prove to be a real headache for Invisible Woman, who can easily throw her off her game with his devious antics.
2
Iron Fist
One On One, Invisible Woman Doesn’t Stand A Chance Against Iron Fist And His Absurd Damage
- Iron Fist can close the gap between him and Invisible Woman with K’un-Lun Kick
- Iron Fist’s ferocious combos can obliterate Invisible Woman one-on-one
If an enemy Invisible Woman is trying to hang back as much as possible while supporting their team, Iron Fist is one of the best Duelists to deal with her, considering how easily he can close a gap. His K’un-Lun Kick and Crane Leap grant Iron Fist tons of mobility, and if he spots Invisible Woman from afar, he can quickly take the fight directly to her by using these abilities.
If he has all of his abilities ready to go at the same time, Iron Fist can eliminate Invisible Woman from the fight in barely any time at all, especially if his ultimate is activated at the same time to grant him a little extra damage.

Spider-Man
Spidey Can Easily Drop Behind Enemy Lines To Take Out Invisible Woman When She Least Expects It
- Spider-Man’s Web Swing allows him to easily enter the enemy’s backline
- Spider-Man’s Amazing Combo can knock Invisible Woman in the air to prevent her from retreating
Spider-Man is a character who is all about using his Web Swing ability to get right into the thick of the action without the enemy team even knowing he’s there, but it also makes him one of the best Duelists in the game for dealing with healers. Considering Invisible Woman will always be hiding behind her teammates, Spidey can navigate his way around the map before then greeting her with a barrage of punches to melt her health bar.
Spider-Man’s Amazing Combo ability, which allows him to knock an enemy up into the air, is also a handy technique that can prevent Invisible Woman from disappearing and scurrying off after she’s been confronted, making for a great counterpick.
