How to Get Bowler Fluff in Infinity Nikki
Bowler Fluff is a crafting item in Infinity Nikki that isn’t necessarily rare, but it can only be found in one region of the game – Stoneville. That means that in order to be able to obtain it, you first need to progress far enough into the main story questline to reach Stoneville, which is at the beginning of Chapter 3.
Once you’ve arrived in the town famous for its fields of Lavenfringe, you can explore all that it has to offer, including all of the new types of crafting materials that can be gathered there. To find Bowler Fluff, you’ll need to seek out the large brown-and-white canines that roam the town known as Bowlers. They closely resemble the Saint Bernard dog breed, and you can usually find them hanging out in front of Stoneville households and in the purple Lavenfringe fields, protecting the flocks of Florist Sheep.
Despite their protective nature, Bowlers are entirely docile, making them very easy to approach compared to other creatures in the game such as skiddish Celebcrows. You will need to groom them to get their Bowler Fluff, meaning you will need to equip your Bye Bye Dust ability outfit (or any of its fashionable alternatives that you’ve collected). Find it on your ability wheel and ready it up, then approach the nearest Bowler that you find.
Once the blue brush icon appears over its head, groom the Bowler and you should receive 1 x Bowler Fluff in return along with Grooming Insight.
If you unlock the appropriate nodes on your Heart of Infinity Grid, as seen above, you can also collect Bowler Fluff Essence after a grooming session along with bonus Grooming Insight. These nodes are found on the north side of the grid, and the one to unlock Essences in Stoneville requires a minimum of 7,000 Grooming Insight while the node to unlock Insight bonuses in Stoneville is further up the same branch and requires a minimum of 18,000 Grooming Insight.
The cost to unlock both of those nodes may seem steep, but as long as you make routine visits to the Realm of Nourishment at any Warp Spire, you can use your daily Vital Energy to boost that Insight stat much more quickly.
Also, remember that, like all other crafting items in Infinity Nikki, you can use your Map’s tracker feature to pinpoint more locations of Bowler Fluff in Stoneville. Simply pull up your Map while in-game, and go to the book icon in the bottom left corner.
Select it to bring up your Collections menu and then select the pawprint tab. Scroll down to find the Bowler Fluff option and click it, at which point your map will automatically lock on to the nearest Bowler Fluff node location. It will be indicated by an orange circle (as seen above), and once you clear it, the next node location will appear on the map. For your convenience, a map with all known Bowler Fluff locations is provided above.
