Summary

  • Pokemon GO debuts Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight at Steely Resolve event on January 21.
  • Dual Destiny Season introduces new loading screen teasing Rookidee and Corviknight.
  • Special research, field research tasks, and shiny Pokemon encounters featured during event.

Pokemon GO announced the debut of Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight on January 21 at the Steely Resolve event. Pokemon GO players have been waiting for the addition of the Corviknight evolutionary line for some time, and now it comes to increase the number of Galar Pokemon available in the game.

With the launch of Pokemon GO‘s Dual Destiny Season in December 2024, Niantic introduced a new loading screen. This screen caught the attention of players, who promptly noticed the appearance of Rookidee and Corviknight, two Pokemon that had not been announced until then. But players noticed that the Flying/Steel-type wasn’t revealed by subsequent events, leaving the community wondering when the pocket monsters would finally debut in the augmented reality game.
