They are basically what you use to unlock outfits in the game, and you can keep track of how many there are in each region through the map. However, there are some Whimstars that are located inside Curio Domains. These domains are special challenges that players need to complete to obtain the Whimstar at the end. Enter: The Well of Fortune.
Where To Find The Curio Domain Challenge In The Well Of Fortune
The Well of Fortune is a sub-area in Florawish that players may encounter during their explorations. They will also come across it if they progress through the main story because there is a Warp Spire in the cave to unlock. The Curio Domain will be located above them to the left from the Warp Spire, and it is a bit of a challenge to reach.
How To Reach The Curio Domain Challenge In The Well Of Fortune
Infinity Nikki is known for its fashion forward approach, but its controls are a little difficult to handle in the beginning. One such element is the jumping mechanics, which are heavily centered around Nikki’s identity as a ‘princess.’ She has an elegant way of jumping, and this can be a little tricky to navigate at first, since the jump doesn’t last long.
Once you’re at the Warp Spire, turn right and head into the canals that you see. You’ll need to jump across the waterway and head inside the small room to your left. Head up the pipes to the next level and keep going up until you come to a window. You then need to be very careful here, as the pathway is narrow, and one wrong step could easily make you fall. Keep heading along the edge of the ruins until you reach the other side and find the domain.
How To Jump On All The Boxes Without Touching The Ground
Since this Curio Domain is a little tough at first, players can follow this guide for tips they will need to use to conquer this challenge. Once you first enter the domain, you’ll see eight gigantic boxes in a pit. All the boxes will be aligned symmetrically, and you need to jump on each one once to activate it.
You cannot jump down or onto the side platform to reach the next box, as that will be an
automatic fail
.
The trick here is to gain enough momentum to propel you to the next box, and that can be quite a struggle, since the size of the box is not ideal. The best route is to start from the box at the bottom right of the entrance, then head straight, turn left, go back down, then right, and up. You can gain momentum by slowly walking to the edge of the box, before turning around and immediately sprinting to the edge. Once you get to the edge, you need to let yourself float for just a second, before activating the jump skill, and then holding the jump skill.
Do not immediately hold the jump skill, as that will make you fall faster.
Another tip to note: if you notice Nikki’s knees descend lower than the top of the box, you are more likely to fail. Her knees need to ideally be a good centimeter or half an inch above the box for her to be able to ‘climb’ it and successfully land. Once you’ve got the hang of it, move onto the next box and keep going until you reach the end. Afterward, jump toward the side platform and head across to grab the Whimstar located at the other end of the domain.
