How To Get Fertilizer In Towers of Aghasba
Quick Links
Table of Contents
Fertilizer is one of the most useful resources in Dreamlit Inc’s Towers of Aghasba, as it increases plant growth. Players who’ve already set up the ecosystem on the withered Aghasba know how slow it can be to grow trees and crops like Resin Fir, Allei Fern, Big Cap, Barrel Cacti, and Cotton Flower.
These plants provide key ingredients such as Resin, Allei Leaf, Mushroom Cap, Cactus, and Cotton, which are used for building structures, crafting items, and even cooking food. Fertilizer is a great way to cut down the time it takes for these plants to fully grow on the island. This guide will show you how to get Fertilizer in Towers of Aghasba.

Fur is an important resource in Towers of Aghasba. Here’s how to get it, and how different methods affect your Amity.
How To Get Fertilizer In Towers of Aghasba
To get Fertilizer, you’ll need to craft a Compost Shed in Towers of Aghasba. Here are the items needed to make it:
- 3 Clay (collect from Clay Mounds)
- 2 Tree Bark (chop trees, including Dead Slim Tree and Dead Pastu Tree)
- 5 Thatch (harvest bushes around you)
- 10 Dung (feed creatures)
Once you have all the materials, press the ‘Tab’ button to open your inventory, navigate to the ‘Build’ section, select the Compost Shed, and hit the ‘Build’ icon. After the Compost Shed is ready, place it on the ground and interact with it using the ‘E’ button. Now, you can make as many Simple Fertilizers as you want from the recipe menu.
The Build section doesn’t appear at the start of the game. You’ll need to progress through some introductory quests first to unlock it.
How to Find Ingredients For Fertilizer
After the Simple Fertilizer recipe shows up in the Compost Shed menu, gather these items to make it in Towers of Aghasba:
Dung is creature waste you can collect by feeding nearby animals. While common creatures like Skirtau and Beetlepup are found all over, you’ll spot some new ones near the King Tree. To get Dung, just toss a fruit from your inventory in front of an animal. After it eats, it’ll drop one piece of Dung. Each animal has its own favorite food, so they’ll ignore anything they don’t like. You can use the Shimuscope to check what each creature prefers before feeding them.
Bone is a versatile ingredient used in various crafting recipes. You can grab bones by hunting wild creatures like Fuzzyfin, Skirtau, Spikaroo, Juvor, Beetlepup, and Harelope. Each animal drops one to two bones. Just to quickly mention, killing animals reduces your Amity, the life force that flows in every living being on Aghasba. Amity is also the main currency for opening portals and growing the ecosystem. But sometimes, it’s necessary to lose a bit of it, like in this case.
When all the ingredients are gathered, interact with the Compost Shed by pressing the ‘E’ button, going to the ‘Simple Fertilizer’ option, and clicking the ‘Convert’ icon. It will take almost 10 minutes to prepare. Once done, you’ll receive two bags of Simple Fertilizer.
How To Use Fertilizer In Towers of Aghasba
Fertilizer helps your garden grow faster. To use it, place it on the ground around the area where you’ve planted new seeds or where you see some sprouts. Simply press the ‘Tab’ button, select the Simple Fertilizer, and click ‘Use’ to take it out, then left-click to settle it. This way, all plants within the Fertilizer’s range will grow bigger or take less time to fully mature.
