Best Characters In Arcane Who Aren't League Champions
Key Takeaways
Table of Contents
- Sky’s death shapes Viktor, awakening him to the danger of his research.
- Sevika is a badass fighter with a decent heart, showcasing leadership, loyalty, and willingness to protect others.
- Isha, a traumatized girl, gives Jinx a new outlook on life, resembling a young Powder and bringing out the caring side of Jinx.
While many of the best characters in Arcane happen to be champions from League of Legends, there are also plenty of great original characters created by the show. Each of these characters brings something unique to the table, and not all of them have the martial skills typically required of League champions.

The best non-champion characters in Arcane come from a variety of backgrounds and are capable of driving the plot just as much as beloved champions.
6 Sky
The Effect Her Death Had On Viktor Shaped Him
- Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
While Viktor’s assistant, Sky, was at first a side character, her death had such a profound effect on him that she has become rather important. Killed by the Hex Core while attempting to save Viktor, Sky’s death awoke Viktor to the danger of his research, and his focus once again returned to helping others.
It’s a tragedy that Sky was never recognized by Viktor in life, but while her feelings and own research went unnoticed, they would eventually come to fruition and live on through Viktor. In Season 2, Sky returns and is part of Viktor’s conscience when he has his visions, giving fans a glimpse at what could have been.
5 Sevika
A Badass Fighter With A Decent Heart
While Sevika is not a League of Legends champion in Arcane, it certainly stands to reason that she could become one, given her fighting prowess. She is arguably the most badass character in the series, and her fight scenes in both seasons stand out thanks in part to two different mechanical arms, the second of which was created by Jinx in the mini-game Jinx Fixes Everything.

Arcane: 10 Champions From Zaun And Piltover Who Haven’t Appeared In The Show
While many iconic League of Legends characters show up in Arcane, there are many who have yet to appear.
Beyond her fighting capabilities, Sevika has many qualities, including leadership and loyalty, and at the end of the day, she has a decent heart. She is often willing to put herself in harm’s way for others, never letting anyone else fight her battles.
4 Isha
A Traumatized Girl Who Gives Jinx A New Outlook On Life
Isha is one of the new characters in Season 2 of Arcane and after the events of Act 2, she certainly has to go down as one of the best characters in the show. Perhaps due to the trauma of seeing so much death, this little girl never says a word, but she finds a sense of family and love when she meets Jinx, and later Vi and Vander.
After being saved by Jinx, she seems to be willing to do anything to save her new older sister figure, constantly putting herself in harm’s way. One of the most interesting aspects of Isha as a character is that she resembles a young Powder in many ways, and at the same time, she returns a little of Powder to Jinx, who is changed for the better by having someone to care for.
3 Vander
The Perfect Father Figure
From the moment he was introduced in the very first episode of Arcane, Vander has been a fan-favorite character, and it’s easy to see why. His voice, demeanor, and maturity are all incredibly calming, and he is not only a father figure to Powder, Vi, Mylo, and Claggor, but to his entire community.
When somebody needs to be stood up for, Vander will be there, and when his adopted children and the Undercity were under threat, he was ready to hand himself in for a crime he did not commit. Vander’s past with Silco is also incredibly compelling, given that they used to be on the same side, but eventually grew toward differing ideologies. Singed’s resurrection of Vander and the events of Act 2 of the second Season, were both tragic and heartwarming, especially as Vander still fought to protect those he loved.
2 Mel Medarda
A Great Leader Who Puts The Interests Of Piltover First
- Voiced by: Toks Olagundoye
In a world where violence often seems to be the answer, Mel Medarda is a constant voice against it, especially in contrast to her own mother, the Noxian warlord and new League champion, Ambessa. Mel is intelligent, politically adept, and yet not hungry for power.

Arcane: 6 Reasons Why Fans Should Play Legends Of Runeterra
Fans of Arcane should consider trying out Legends of Runeterra, an online card-collecting game featuring many of the best characters from Arcane.
In Season 1, she plays the political game brilliantly and sees a bountiful future for all of Piltover in Jayce. She maneuvers to bring him and Hextech to the fore, ushering in a new golden age of technology and trade for the City of Progress. When trouble arises, however, she sees the danger of Hextech, and even at the start of Season 2, she does not seek revenge blindly, and cautions against Hextech still.
1 Silco
A Compelling Enemy Capable Of Love
Silco is easily one of the best characters in Arcane and his impact on Season 1 was so large that his presence is still felt in the second Season. While he has certainly done some terrible things, such as unleashing Shimmer on the undercity, Silco is far from the typical evil bad guy.
He genuinely loved Jinx as a daughter, and as the Season 2 flashback revealed, all he did was try to fulfill the promise he and Vander made to Powder and Vi’s mother. Speaking of Vander, their relationship and history is one of the most intriguing, as they used to be brothers in arms and shared a dream of an independent Zaun. While Silco is not a champion and wouldn’t fit the mold, he was available as an Arcane character in Teamfight Tactics.
