Warcraft 3: Reforged – Blackrock and Roll Walkthrough
After having successfully defended Strahnbrad from the orcs in the previous mission of the Human Campaign in Warcraft 3: Reforged, Arthas and Uther set out to deal with the invaders once and for all. During the second mission, Blackrock and Roll, you will learn more about the units that are part of the Human faction of Warcraft 3 along with getting a taste for base building. While the main objectives are pretty straight forward for this mission, there is a side quest that you can take on if you want to get a useful upgrade for Arthas.

Cheat codes were a part of Warcraft 3 when it first came out, and they have returned in Warcraft 3: Reforged.
Build Your Base
As is common in the RTS genre, the first step of this mission is to build up your forces and your base. You will need to build two farms, the barracks, and train six footman to progress to the next step of this mission.
Select one of the peasants from the mine and open the build menu. Choose the farm and pick a spot to build it. This early on into the game, it doesn’t really matter where you build the farms, but they should ideally be somewhere you can defend them.
Like with the Burrows for orcs, Farms allow you to have a larger army. After you’ve built the farms, have one of the peasants build the barracks. You can have other peasants build more farms, or have them go back to gathering gold/lumber. Once you’ve built the barracks, the final step will be to train up six footman. Each footman will cost 135 gold, but you should still have plenty of gold to spend if you have enough peasants in the gold mine.
While you are building your forces, you will periodically be attacked by orcs. Fortunately, Uther is nearby to lend a hand to the defense of your base. Since Arthas won’t have anything to do at the start of this mission, have him join Uther in defense of the base so that you can get more EXP. Since the level and gear of your hero carry over across the campaign, there is no downside to having Arthas get his hands dirty.
Searinox
Once you’ve completed all three objectives, there will be a cutscene. Train up some additional footmen and prepare to go on the offensive. The Blademaster is in the northeast corner of the map. Make sure to leave some forces behind to defend your base in the event of an attack while the majority of your units are away. You also have the option to build a blacksmith shop, which will allow you to permanently upgrade the weapons and armor of your units.
Not too far from your base, there will be a group of dwarves who will have a side quest that you can pursue. They need your help taking out a fearsome black dragon known as Searinox. While your target is in the opposite direction of the Blademaster, the reward is worth the effort. Make sure to take some of the riflemen with you, as you will need their ranged attacks.
Head east and go up the path. Follow this path up into the more mountainous terrain and take out the black dragon whelps as you go. Searinox is guarded by some skeletons, but if you have a few Rifleman it will be fairly easy to take him out. Make sure to have Arthas with you so that you can heal your forces. Take the heart back to the dragon hunters to complete this side quest.
Defeat the Blademaster
With the dwarves’ help, your forces will be much more prepared to deal with the orcs. From your base, head northeast while dealing with any orcs along the road. When you get to the camp, take out as many orcs as you can and then focus on destroying their buildings.
Taking out buildings will make it much harder for your opponent to fight back. With fewer Burrows, they won’t be able to raise as big of an army. Without their Barracks, they won’t be able to train additional forces. With the orc base destroyed, or at least severely damaged, you will have less to worry about as you go after the Blademaster.
Not only does the Blademaster deal a lot of damage, but he can also disappear, reappear, and create copies of himself. Be vigilant, and you should have little trouble defeating the Blademaster and completing this mission.
